I reached out thinking; nobody will take it.
But I felt a grasp,
I felt as you wrapped
your arms around me.
Pulling me into an embrace,
and smoothing my hair.
you told me "It's okay"
I didn't want to trust you,
but you showed me the other way around.
You cared for me,
you loved me.
