Simon arrived at his house late that night. He went from bar to bar, trying to suffocate the feelings inside of him. He didn't want to feel, think or breathe. He just wanted to find peace next to Amanda. He entered his house, not being able to stand on his own. He just fell into the hallway and didn't feel like doing anything against it.

His face hit the cold, hard floor and he felt his sking give away. He felt the warm blood running down his cheek and knew he should get up and clean the wound but he didn't care. He just wanted Amanda back.

He kicked the door shut and didn't move at all after that. Too exhausted to do anything against his current situation, he fell asleep.

...

The next morning he woke up in his bed. Confusion written all over his face, he wondered how he got there. He didn't remember walking up the stairs and into his bedroom. All he remebered was the fall and his hand went up to find his head bandaged. He didn't do  that.

He was sure of that. He was too drunk to even consider bandaging his head. So who did it if he didn't do it? He got out of bed slowly, not wanting to challenge his headache and went down to look for any clue.

A cold morning breeze hit him as soon as he entered his living room and saw that the door to his balcony was left open. Fear rushed through him at the thought of someone breaking into his house.

He closed and locked the door and leaned against it, breathing heavily. "Calm down Simon," he said to himself. Who would have broken into a house just to help someone? That doesn't make much sense. He didn't want to think anymore due to the headache.

He considered not going to auditions and staying in bed all day but he feared Alesha's reaction. She could be... sassy when it came to things like this.

But at the end his will to not go overcame his fear of being yelled at and so he called in sick. He went back into his bed and curled up with one of Amanda's old shirts.

...

She entered the house quietly. It was a good idea to keep the key to his house. She didn't have to break in. He should have  been at work right now.  She even waited one more hour just to be safe. She  didn't want to risk anything. He couldn't see her. She just wanted to finish her job.

She had failed to return the necklace the prior evening. She had got weak and helped him, risking everything. She just wanted to return the damn thing but when she saw him on the floor, a puddle of blood forming around his head, she just couldn't walk away.

You could say what you want but she wasn't as heartless as people thought. She went into the living room and placed the necklace on the coffee table when she heard the door bell ring. Shit. Run.

Her instincts kicked in and she ran up  the stairs and into the first room, what happened to be the bathroom. She heard the bedroom door open and heavy footsteps walk down the stairs. Fear creeping up on her of being caught made her back hit the wall of the bathroom.

Tears threatened to spill and she swallowed hard. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't just walk out the front door and the possibility that one of the would use the bathroom was quite high.

The window... She walked towards the window and looked out. She could jump onto the roof of the balcony and just dissappear through the garden. She opened the window and managed to somehow get through the small space.

Afraid of heights she collected all of her courage and left her fit body fall onto the dirty roof. With a soft thud, she landed and sighed of relief. She wouldn't come back... The chance of being caught was too high for her liking.

She managed to get away without bein seen but took once last glance. He looked so lost. How could she do this to him, knowing what it did to him?

...

Simon and Alesha heard a soft thud with rustling of bushes and looked out into the garden. "What was that?" Simon asked and Alesha didn't know the answer. "Do you smell that?" Simon asked and Alesha sighed.

"Don't change the subject Simon! You know exactly why I am mad at you! You're drinking yourself to death!" she said angrily. She couldn't just watch her friends kill himself. She needed to do  something.

"I know... I try to change it but strange things keep happening Alesha," he said and Alesha rolled her eyes. "It's your immagination playing tricks on you. You have been trough a lot and the alcohol doesn't help that," she said and he just nodded.

"You're right... I should probably get ready for work," he said and made his way up to get changed.

...

"Where have you been?" A cold and distant voice said and she felt a shiver run down her spine.

"You have seen him again, haven't you?" he asked and she just nodded.

"You know that if I fail my job you'll be dead, so why do you make it so hard for me?" he asked and the tears ran down her face, making her feel weak.

"I  just miss him," she said and wiped away her tears with a shaky hand.
