Archies pov

Seeing Gwen going through the halls like that broke my heart,
She seemed lost.
And I don't think she wanted to be found.

It didn't take a genius to know it had something to do with Reggie,
I could see the two getting close these past few days.
It's a shame.
They would have been good for eachother.

"Hey Arch"
Speak of the devil,
I turned around to see a very drunk looking Gwen behind me,
"Come down to the White Wyrm tonight at 6, I have something for you"
My body froze and I just nodded,
She actually got the gun.

I should be happy,
So why do I feel so....dirty?
...........

"If I had known you were a snake earlier, I never would have let you on the vixens Gwen."

I rolled my eyes a Cheryl' s attack.
I was just hoping Gwen wouldn't take it too serious.
Cheryl was playing with fire,
And Gwen was the match.
"Red can you shut your egotistical mouth for three god damn seconds please? My heads killing me and you're not helping"

Cheryl smirked obviously proud of her self,
"Maybe your head wouldn't be pounding if you didn't go on a fender last night"
That's when Gwen got angry,
The other red haired girl shut her book she was reading and sat up in her seat slightly,
Placing her hands on the table.
"Don't put yourself in something you know nothing about"

Cheryl opened her mouth,
And we all just shamefully sat and watched this all go down.
"You're a dirty Serpent, Gwen. All you do is drink and do drugs. It was about time you showed your true colors"

"Cheryl, that's enough"
I rolled my eyes at Reggies attempt to fix things,
But like I assumed.
His voice only made the fore in Gwens  eyes worse.
"No, it's not. How's your mother Gwen? Cause by the looks of it you're going to turn out just like her"
And that's when all hell broke loose.
Gwen launched her book at Cheryl' s face and jumped over the table to get to her.
Reggie and I both ran over to stop it.
We didn't get Gwen pulled off of Cheryl until she got at least one good punch to her right cheek.
Cheryl would feel that in the morning.
Reggie wrapped his arms around Gwen, attempting to hold her down until she calmed down.
This just resulted in a punch to his face as well.

And that was the first time all day,
Where I saw sadness and regret in her eyes.
Gwen acted like she wanted to comfort Reggie and apologize. But she had too much pride for that.
Instead she looked over at Cheryl on the floor and smirked.
"Try and get me in trouble for this, I will expose your family for so much more little Red. Try me."
And with that,
She left.

Reggies pov

"Are you okay?"
I brushed Joise off and just nodded.
I don't know what was more surprising to me.
That Gwen hit me, or the fact she looked like she was sorry afterwards.

I know I hurt her.
But the truth is,
It hurt me too.
I couldn't help but feel like she lied to me.

It sounds dumb, but sometimes.
Staying quiet and not saying anything is worse then lying.
I wanted to run after her,
And hold her and let her know that everythin would be alright.
Sadly that might result in another punch to the face.

"Hey Reg, can I talk to you for a second"
Archie nudged his head to the left,
Asking me to follow him.

"What's up man?"
He looked around before meeting my eyes,
I could see the sorrow and the hurt.
Much like the ones I see in Gwens eyes.
"What happened to you and Gwen? She's a mess"
A sigh left my lips as I ran my hands down my face,
"I don't know man. I just. I found out she was a Serpent. And her old Serpent boyfriend showed up and started running his mouth about their past and I just. I can't be with a Serpent Archie. You know how my parents are"

Archie sighed before leanin against a locker,
"Since when have you let your parents control your life Reggie? Look I'm not you, I dint know what goes on in your head. But i think you're just scared, scared of the risks you'd have to take to be with her."

For the first time in a long time, what Archie Andrews said made sense.
That's what scared me.
"I think you're right.. but she hates me now Archie. What do I do? I don't know how to win a girl back. Ive onky had one girlfriend in my entire life"

That's when my good friend laughed at me, before putting a hand on my shoulder.
"You gotta work at it Reg. Earn her trust back, learn more about her. Find out what she likes"

Gwens pov

I hit Reggie.
The assholes deserved it but still,
The look of shock on his face when I did has printed itself in my mind.

The Wyrm was as alive as always,
But the crowd of people around me was just. Silence.
So I signaled for Toni to pour me another drink,
If I couldn't actually have fun.
I would drink until I thought i was.
And there's also the fact I didn't wanna remember my whole one night stand with Toni,
She was the one Serpent I had who wouldn't go report everything i said to Sweet Pea.
Now I've probably lost that.

Cause what is the one thing that Gwen always does?
Gets hurt,
And hurts everyone else.
"Gwen?"
A smirk grew in my face as I slowly turned in my seat to see Archie,
Awh poor thing.
He looked worried.
"You're early andrews"

Red took a seat next to me,
Attempting to avoid everyone's eyes but mine.
"I was worried after the whole thing at school, so I figured I would find you here"

I raised my glass to the air and downed it,
Looking back at him.
"No need to worry about me Archie. I've been taking care if myself my whole life. Why would now be any different?"
His face looked sad,

He knew something bad was going in with me.
And Archie is one of those people who always have to help someone they care about.
Sad part is,
No one can help me.

His hand rested on my shoulder.
Which cause a bunch of emotions to surface.
I wanted to lay on his shoulder and cry.
Tell him about Reggie, my mom, my father. Everything.
But i can't.
Cause that shows weakness.
And when I'm weak, I get hurt.

"Gwen. I care about you, okay? You're my friend. I'm always here no matter what, alright?"
That's when I laughed,
"You don't have to pretend to like me to get your gun Andrews. Come on. Follow me"
He acted like he was going to say something else.
But i just walked a little faster,
Out of the Wyrm.

When I got to my motorcycle I gave Archie a small smirk.
"You willing to go in a little ride?"
Archie gave me a confused look but u just laughed,
"You came early Andrews, and i came right from school. Do you really think I would show up at school with a gun? With my reputation?"

"Where would we be going?"
That's when my smile dropped and I tossed him a helmet.
"My house"
