Adrian's POV

I walk into the doctors office. Mari agreed to let me go to the appointments. That's the only time I get to see her.

After the fight, I left the apartment and have been staying with Alya and Nino since then.

I would stay with my father, but when I told him the reason why, he called me a stupid child and said I was an idiot and should have let her terminate the baby. I called him a Asshat with a selfish mind and I may or may not have told him to go f**k himself.

I look over at Mari. But what caught my attention was the baby bump on her stomach. She was 5 months in and we were here for a checkup. I walk over to her and sit down next to her.

I know she knows I'm here. But she just doesn't want to acknowledge me.

"Hi, Mari." I spoke.

"Adrien." She spoke.

"How you been?" I asked.

"Good." She states. My eyes go to her belly.

"How's the baby doing?" I ask. She looks at me finally.

"That's what we're here to find out, right?" She asked. She looked back at her magazine.

"May I touch it?" I asked. She looks at me. "Please?" She sets down her magazine and faces me. I smile and put a hand on her stomach. I can't help but smile. Mari grunts as I feel a pound against her stomach. "Was that a-"

"Yes." She said and faces away. I sigh and lean back in my chair.

"Marionette Dupen-cheng?" The nurse spoke. Mari gets up.

"That's me." She said. She grabs her purse.

"Please follow." Mari does and I follow as well.

It takes a little bit but finally the doctor let's me in and I sit in a chair.

"Alright. How are we doing?" The doctor asked.

"Good." Mari spoke.

"And I'm guessing your the father?" The doctor asked. I nodded. She reached out a hand in which I shake. "Dr. Martin."

"Adrien Agreste." I spoke. She chuckles.

"I know sweetie. I see your posters everywhere. Even in my daughters room." She said with a laugh. I smile and chuckle myself. She picks up a clipboard. "So we just here for a check up?" Mari nods. "Okay dokey." See grabs some gel stuff. "Your gonna feel a cold sensation and than it'll go away." Dr. Martin puts the gel on Mari's stomach and Mari gasped. She chuckles with the doctor. Dr. Martin then proceeds to grab the scope for the ultrasound and put it on Mari's belly.

She moves around before she is able to find the baby. I smile when I see it on the ultrasound.

"Is there anyway I can get a picture?" I asked. Dr. Martin smiles after clicks something.

"So, I have a clear view of the gender if you want to know." Dr. Martin spoke.

"You do?" I asked. She nods. "Please, tell."

"No!" Mari said. "I don't want to know anything about this thing!" Dr. Martin gives me a look.

"Okay." Dr. Martin spoke. She hands Mari a paper towel. "Why don't you get dressed while I talk to Mr. Agreste,  outside." Dr. Martin walks to the door and I follow. She opens it and I walk out. She walks to the front desk and I follow once again. "What was that about?" She asked from behind the desk.

"She doesn't want to keep the baby." I said leaning on the counter with my arms crossed. "The only reason she is, is because I begged her too."

"So, she doesn't want it. But you do?" She asked. She had previously been in a different room, before coming to the one in front of me. I nodded and she placed a picture in front of me. "I'm sure your little girl, will thank you one day." She grabbed my arm. "It seems like you'll be a great role model for daughter Mr. Agreste." I grab the picture if the ultrasound.

Little girl? Daughter?

I smile at the photo. I touch it with my fingers tips.

"Little girl." I mutter. Dr. Martin gripped my arm one more time before walking away. I just sit there smiling at the photo, while no doubt looking like a goofball. I look over to see Mari coming down the Hall. "Mari-" She walks out of the places.

Little girl? Our little girl? We're going to have a daughter! A little Mari? Or me?
