Mari closed the door and left. I looked at the doctor.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Let's see where do we start-" He asked flipping throw his chart. "You have a broken shoulder, stitches on your hip and knee cap, a concussion, seatbelt burns, and lastly your ribs are broken. You've been put on leave at your work, by order of the hospital."
"For how long?" I asked.
"1 month 2 at the most. At least for the ribs to heal up a, and the stitches to come out." He said. I ran my hand threw my hair and nodded. "Lastly, the matter of your payment."
"I'll figure it out." I said cutting him off.
"No, Mr. Agreste." He said. I look at him. "It's already been paid for." I looked at Nino and Alya. They looked at shocked.
"By who?" I asked looking back at him.
"He didn't say. But he did leave this for you." He said handing me a card. I grabbed it and opened it.
Dear Adrien,
I heard about what happen. I'm very sorry, I wasn't there.
I have paid for your bills and Natalie will be by your house once your out,
to give you a card. It has $30,000 on it. Much to what you think, I miss you son.
