It was yet another beautiful day at Hogwarts. The school year had started for good, everyone had been sorted into their houses and beside all the extra security from The Dark Lord's attack on the Ministry, everyone was finally getting used to their new school schedule. The students were about to wake up and go to breakfast in the Great Hall like usual, well, everyone except me. I woke up by the sound of someone aggressively knocking on the door causing me to almost fall out of my bed. My eyes shot open and at first I didn't have a clue on what was going on. Then, a shot of excitement went through my body as I for a brief second thought that maybe there could be a Troll in the dungeons again like there had been three years ago. I had tried to catch a glimpse of it, but Filch caught me and dragged me by my ear back to my room. But ever since then, I had always dreamed of seeing a Troll.
The door flew open and in came Filch barging against my bed killing all my hopes and dreams just as soon as I laid eyes on his grumpy face.
"Get up! Loads and loads of work to do today." he spat at me. I tried keeping my eyes open as I glanced over at the clock that was standing on the night table beside my bed. I almost choked when I realized how early it was and I turned back to him with a frown.
"You've got to be kidding me, Filch. It's six pm! I don't start until eight." I shouted at him, but he only rolled his eyes at me before shaking his head in annoyance.
"Always complaining.." he sighed heavily, "A toilet in the girls bathroom on the second floor is leaking and I don't want any water damage. Now get on with it!" he demanded and slammed the door behind him as he stormed out of the room. Annoyed I crashed my head back into the pillow as I let a loud sigh escape my lungs. Filch had and would always know how to push my buttons. But as always I did as I was told and forced my feet out of the bed, dragging my body along with them. I put on my regular gray dungarees and a white thin sweater. I often wished I could throw on a beautiful dress or something different for a change, but I didn't own that much. I had a bed, a night table, a tiny closet and a shelf for all my books, but that was pretty much it.
Yawning I made my way to Filch's office to get my gear. I found everything I needed and Filch only mumbled to himself as I left with my things. Never in my lifetime had he ever said something nice like "Good Morning!" or "How did you sleep?". My guess was that he one day woke up on the wrong side of the bed and just never returned to the right one.
