Diagon Alley

Wake up darling, mother called up the grand staircase. I'm already up and dress mum, I yelled back

You must be excited y/n. Already out of bed and dressed this early. I am mother; who wouldn't be I mean I get to have my wand chosen, get fitted for my robes, and get a pet. Ah yes I remember getting my wand chosen it took a hour to find my bloody wand, said mother. Oh merlin I hope it doesn't take that long for me. It shouldn't darling it didnt take your father long at all to find his wand.

Now come along if we get there around this time a day the alley won't be too crowded. Phy! Come on we are leaving now, we have to get your books as well. Phy came down stairs dressed in muggle clothes. He had on black jeans and a maroon T-shirt and plain Greg shoes. Phy is what some people would call "hot" my friends have said a thousand times they have a crush on him. I think he looks like a house elf with his face stomped in.

Come children, we are going to use the floo network to get to Diagon alley. Phy you first, said mother. Phy stepped up grabbed his floo power and yelled, Diagon Alley! You next darling, I stepped up said the "magic words" and whoosh. Green flames that tickled my sides appeared all around me. And then I was standing along cobblestoned streets. Phy was standing waiting for me. Next came mother.

Here y/n, said mother handing me three galleons. This should be enough for your wand, robes, books and any extra things you'd like. She then handed Phy four galleons. Hey why does he get more money!; I yelled. Because I'm older you daft child, Phy said looking down on me. Whatever I said. Okay Phy I want you to walk with your sister, make sure she doesn't get in any trouble. Okay darling? Okay mum.

Me and Phy began walking towards Olivanders. Once out of moms view we came to a stop. Okay look n/n (nickname) I'm going to go ahead and go where I want to go. How about we meet up back at Olivanders at say four. That'll give you time to do what you have to do. Okay don't forget then, Phy. I won't n/n. Catch you later little sis. Okay bye Phy. I walked to Olivanders and went to get my wand picked. When I went inside I saw a scrawny boy with round glasses and get black hair. And beautiful electric green eyes. He was getting his wand packaged up and putting it with the rest of the stuff he had to buy.

I looked up and saw a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. Right then I knew who he was. He was Harry Potter. But I didnt want to seem crazy and say something about him being Harry Potter. So I just looked down at my feet.

Soon as I looked down I felt someone bump into me. I then crashed to the ground and felt someone crab beside me. I am so sorry the boy said. I looked up and it was Harry. Oh no its no problem at all, I said helping him pick up his things. I stood up and handed him them. I'm Harry, Harry Potter he said handing out a hand for me to shake. I'm y/n Lanes. Nice to meet you, I said shaking his hand.

I assume you're attending Hogwarts this year? I asked him. Yes, I am are you, he asked. Yep sure am. He then looked up at the window I turned and looked back with him. I huge and hairy man was standing there. He was holding a gorgeous snowy owl in his hand. I have to go now, Harry said looking back at me. Okay, I hope to see you at Hogwarts soon. You to y/n said Harry.

I then walked up to the desk to get my wand chosen. Ah y/n Lanes. I remember choosing your parents wands. Rather rare wands at that. Come along we will pick yours.

He handed me a red leather box. Redwood 10 inches unicorn hair core. Unyielding flexibility. I held it and starting inspecting it. Go ahead try it out he said, I then twirled it and a window shattered. Well certainly not that one. He then handed me another box this one a light grey. This one was a dark rosewood with a maticore hair core. 9 and 1/2 inches. I twirled it and a lamp flew into the air and smashed itself into a bookcase. Not that one either. He then handed me a third wand. It was made of ebony wood and had dragon heartstring core. 12 inches and unyielding flexibility. I gave it a twirl and the room got warm and bright. It was amazing. That's the one. That'll be 5 sickles. I handed him the money and bid him farewell.

I then went to flourish and Blotts and bought my books. I also got an extra book of poetry for my own enjoyment.
And then I went to get my robes sized. After that I finally got to choose my pet. I walked around for about thirty minutes and decided to pick a tiny black kitten. He has piercing blue eyes and rather big paws for a kitten but it was rather adorable. I decide to name him Hypnos (hip-nos) after the god of sleep cause he was such a sleepy little kitten.

After buying the kitten I looked down at my watch and saw it said four thirty. Bloody hell Phy is going to kill me! I began running back to Olivanders as fast as I could when suddenly I ran into a platinum blonde boy. Im sorry he said sarcasticly picking me off the ground. No no its my fault I should've watched where I was going. That's true he said. I looked into his eyes and he had the most beautiful blue grey eyes I'd ever seen in my entire life. They were like a winters sky with a cold storm approaching silently. Calm but yet somehow dangerous all at once. I quicklysnapped out of my staring session and pulled myself back to reality. I must be going I said I'm late for something, I said. Well goodbye then I said and walked off. He stood there and said nothing. After I couldn't see him anymore I began running again. I soon saw Phy standing at Olivanders. Where the hell have you been?!; he yelled once I got beside him. I'm sorry it took a while to get everything done im sorry.

Whatever. Come on let's go find mum, he said. We soon met up with mother and then made our way home. I was even more excited than before about going to Hogwarts. This was going be amazing.
