It had been a couple hours of try to get anything out of Riptide and all the group could get out was that he had just turned 18 and a hole bunch of classifieds.
That changed when Thor returned with Loki. The Avengers all tensed at his appearance but were shocked at the growl that came from the young agent that was now standing at the back of the group.
"Wow you were right he reeks," Loki remarked as he walked casually through the group to Riptide. "Now how did you end up in a dump like this Perceus," Loki looked down at his prey.
"Percy is dead," Riptide backed away, Natasha could see a flash of fear in his eyes.
"Are you sure? You have that lovely sea breeze smell coming off you," Loki grabbed his arm. He them narrowed his eyes as he studied the boy, "The rumors are true you are bound." The god mumbled but the others didn't hear. He let go and stood back next to Thor, "he's intriguing. I'll stay to see what happens next."
Riptide was standing like nothing happened with a blank face as he studied those around him. "How is it you're so calm around the two gods in the room?" Vision asked, puzzled by the reaction, or lack there of, from the teen.
"Its not that he's calm but trying not to kill us," Loki sat in Riptide's place on the couch.
"Kill you? It's impossible to kill a god isn't it?" Rodes sat in his own place as the rest tentatively sat back in their original positions, still wary of the mischevious god.
"Extremely hard but not impossible," Thor said as he tossed his hammer.
"Yes but it seems he has been trained since you were last seen," Loki hummed. "So come and sit like a good boy," he patted his lap like you would call a dog.
"I'll stand," Riptide said curtly.
"Come Riptide I won't ask again," Loki gave off a frightening wave of power and shot something at the teen when he didn't move. The teen was pulled forward into the God's lap, bound by a green rope.
"Release me," he used his free hand to hold a black knife to Loki's neck, no one noticing the expertly hidden blush that threatened to show.
"Now that is dangerous Seaweed Brain," Loki gasped as the knife was efficiently stabbed into his arm and put back to his neck.
"Don't call me that," he growled as he shifted on the bleeding man's lap. He quickly cut the rope holding him and stood where he was before.
Riptide watched as Loki healed his wound before deciding that this was no longer amusing, "FRIDAY show me to my room." The wall lit up and he walked away.
"What was that?" Tony exclaimed as he looked at the now casual gods.
"We have confirmed the boy's identity," Thor beamed.
"His name is Perceus?" Clint guessed.
"He is a hero in Asgard but was said to be dead a year ago when cast out by his patrons for a crime he never commit," Thor said.
"Something is keeping him alive though," Loki said.
"We can find this stuff out in the morning it's getting late," Steve suddenly said and they all agreed to go to bed for the nigh.
