I once stated that I don't ship finnceline, but after observing my library, I'm pretty sure I do. And, after looking over all them Fiolee stories, I thought, why not create a marceline x Finn. No, I don't ship Fiolee, please don't hate (Or hat) on me :( I respect your opinion! OK, I haven't planned any of this so bare with me.

Finn shivered, it was knife storming outside and he was stuck in his treehouse with no source of heat whatsoever. He lay, sprawled out on the couch, watching the knives fall onto the ground, piercing the soft earth with their blades.

"Hey dude, I made some meatloaf, your fave!", Jake, his best friend and adoptive brother, ran into the room, a plate of Finns favourite dish clutched in one hand, the other, a knife and fork folded neatly in a clean white napkin.

Finn grunted and forced a smile as he got up into a sitting position,"Thanks bro." He turned back to the window, staring up at the dark blue sky,"When do you think we can go back to adventuring?"

Jake shrugged and handed his brother the plate,"When the knife storm is over, I promise that we'll go on the biggest adventure you can imagine!"

Finns fake smile turned into a real one. Suddenly feeling energy he gobbled up the meatloaf, leaving some for Jake since he only made one for Finn.

"Look Finn, I know that you've become all depressed or whatever, but you need to stop thinking about Flame Princess", Jake walked over to him and awkwardly patted his shoulder.

Her name made Finns heart stop. Now that Jake had said it, he really couldn't stop thinking about her. A pang of guilt swept through him. He couldn't believe that he'd been so selfish, making her and the Ice King fight like that!

"First Bubblegum, now Flame Princess, will I ever find that special somebody?", Finn groaned, sliding down the couch and back into his sprawled position.

"Don't worry dude. I have lady, and some day, you'll have that special someone and maybe have kids of your own", Jake smirked as he said the last bit. "I've always wanted to be an uncle!"

Jake sat on the edge of the couch and stared into Finns sky blue orbs, thinking of more inspirational things to say. Suddenly a sharp yell and a loud crash came from upstairs.

"Stay here Finn, I'm gonna check it out", Jake whispers, creeping to the ladder which lead up to the boys bedroom.

"Why can't I come?", Finn whined, sliding off the couch and grabbing his sword from his awesome green backpack.

"Because you're too loud!"

"No I'm not", Finn exclaimed as he reached out to start climbing the ladder.

As the young adventurer reached the top his serious features turned into a wide smirk as he saw his friend trying to awkwardly brush herself off the floor and casually sit on Finns bed.

"Hey Marceline!", Finn jumped up and ran to envelope her in a bear hug.

"Yeah, sorry Finn, its the storms fault", she wheezed through his tight grip.

"Its Fine Marcy, I'm glad to see you!"

A growl came from the ladder as Jake spied the young boy hugging the vampire. "What is she doing here?", he snarled, his voice laced with venom.

"The storm cut me off from going back. I was coming over for a Jam session but forgot my base", she argued, trying to untangle herself from Finns arms.

"Unlikely story, Marceline!", Jake finished, going down the ladder and muttering about how she was gonna be the death of them.

"What a dweeb"

"Who, Jake?"

"Yeah, he's terrified of me and screams like a little girl when I scare him", Marceline laughed.

Finn chuckled,"That because you scared the glob out of us when we first met".

"Mmhm", she sighed, turned to meet Finns blue gaze,"Have a ever told you about my past?"

Finn shook his head,"No, why?"

"Because its sort of linked to why ice king became the weirdo he is today".

"How?"

Marceline stared at her feet, not wanting Finn to see her with watery eyes. When Finn wasn't looking, she wiped the away and followed his gaze to the window.

"The knife storms going", she said, her usual frowny face on now.

Marceline got up to go but Finn grabbed her arm. He blushed as he muttered,"Stay a bit longer".

Marceline smirked as as she sat back down, leaning against Finns sturdy shoulder. She closed her eyes, wanting it to be like this forever.

"Marceline, storms over!", Jake rushed up the stairs and shoved Marceline off the bed, down the ladder and outside into the sunlight.

A loud hiss came from Marceline as she fell to the floor in pain. Finns heart back flipped in his chest with worry as he rushed outside with an umbrella.

"Sorry about Jake"

Marceline growled,"Its fine Finn, I-I need to g...go now". She thanked Finn for the umbrella and flew off, leaving Finn blushing like a tomato.
