A little help?

Sorry for the really  long wait.  just wanted the 'Playing with death' book over and done with so yeah. I have over 500 reads on my first book, I'm really proud!  Thank y'all for reading this and waiting for it to update :D Also, the French assessment is over! It was over ages ago and now its summer!!!!! I'm going round my dads for a week so that means more updates.... probably .

The two adventurers ran and decapitated as many zombies as possible whilst Marceline and bubblegum were shouting at each other. Candy people were screaming their heads off, some had exploded.

"Marceline, help? Please?", Finn asked, making the two shouting girls stop.

"Uh, sure thing hero", marceline shoved bubblegum away and floated to help the bear hatted boy and his yellowy orange dog.

"Hero?", Bubblegum muttered to herself. She shrugged and walked away to her lab, trying to remember how she stopped them the first time.

Finn swiped his sword and cut off a candy zombies arm. The limb shuddered a bit before going dead.

"Hey Finn, make ya moved!", Jake nudged his brother, winked and nodded towards the vampire girl.

He blushed and turned away,"No, no".

Jake sighed and jumped into Finns backpack. Finn chose not to reason with Jakes strangeness and continued chopping up zombies and pushing the exploded bodies or innocent candy people to the sides of the room. He could feel Jake rummaging around his stuff which bothered him.

"Jake, stop it, don't make me and Marcy do all the work!"

"Awwww you two love birds can have all the fun", said Jakes muffled reply.

"Finn, got all the zombies", Marceline called. She was covered head to toe in candy.

More like syrup but whatever. Finn guess syrup was their blood.

"Are you gonna eat that?", Finn asked, eating the supposed syrup blood of the zombies.

"I can't digest syrup", she answered plainly. (As said in the new episode 'Princess Day', watched it twice in one day)

"Oh", was his reply.

Jake stuck his head out of Finns bag,"Dude, lick it off her".

"No gross!"

"Hah hah", Jake smirked.

Finn walked up to Marceline and ran his finger down her arm, making a syrup pile on his finger. I ate it as he said,"Why can't you?"

"I dunno, I only eat red", she shrugged.

Butterfly's flew around in Finns stomachs, he loved her hair, her eyes, the way she smirked and the way she would turn away at the subject of her past. The last one was very understandable.

"Syrups amazing though", him smiled, taking more of the golden treat of Marcelines arms.

"Its really not", she moved her arms away.

"Finn are you still hungry?", Jake asked, raising his doggy eyebrows at the maybe future couple.

"Yeah, I forgot I packed a sandwich I'm my bag", Finn fist pumped the air and slid off his bag.

Jake smirked. He had recently put the formula thing Bubblegum had given them on Finns cheese sandwich.

As Finn bit into it, his eyes turned a brighter colour. They were now icy blue. Marceline gave him a concerned look.

"You OK, hero?"

"He's fine just a bit dazed"

"Dazed at what", Marceline quirked an eyebrow at the small dog.

"You", he blurted out, instantly clasping his hand over his mouth and facepalming at the same time.

"Me?", Marceline gave Jake a toothy grin,"What about me?"

"Er, your eyes? And your....hair"

"Good try, Jake"

"Why don't you call me hero", Jake pouted.

"Because"

"Because what?"

"I-I, ugh", marceline stared at the floor.

Jake knew she was just about to admit it. Admit her crush. If she doesn't Finn will.....
