Lily's POV
After I am fully awake I can see Daniel and Daniel can see me. After a while of staring at each other Daniel finally speaks "you don't know how much I missed you" "I missed you too" I looked back at Daniel and I could see him tearing up. "This is all my fault, I should have been with you that night. I should have gotten ready with you stayed with you rode together to that party, I should have had you at my side all night. I should have never talked to Brooke, I should have pushed her away and went to find you instead of trying to be nice. I should have told her to leave the party but... I'm sorry that I put you through all this, this is all my fault." I look at Daniel to see several tears falling to the ground while he looks at the floor. I take my fingers and make him look at me, I wipe his tears and I kiss his cheek "my love, absolutely none of this is your fault" he just continues to cry as I tell him to come on the hospital bed with me.
~Third person POV~
As lily lies there in Daniels arms She feels safe. She feels loved. She can feel Daniel crying which leads her to cry. And so they both lie there arms wrapped around each other in a very small hospital bed listening to the sounds of each other's hearts beating and tears dropping. They lie here thinking about what they did to deserve deserve each other. They lie there like that for many hours, not talking, just listening, feeling the presence of each other. As Daniel lies there thinking how she woke up. While Lily is thinking about the reason why she did wake up. Daniel. They boy she loved so much, the boy she was willing to risk everything for.
They lie there thinking about how they love each other, because they really truly were each others half.
