Part 34

Third person POV

As much toll as it's taken on everyone it's taken the most on Daniel, Maya, and Jonah.  

Jonah thought of her like a little sister even though she was only a year younger.  And she thought of him as an older brother.  Maya of corse beinging the best friend and Daniel being the boyfriend.  The first couple of days were hard.  But it got easier... on everyone, they prayed and they would always show up lily was never left with out someone in the room.

It's been 4 months.  4 months where Daniel went to Lily's room everyday, 4 months since a piece of his heart wasn't there 4 months without his best friend.  The doctors told Daniel that the would have to pull the plug in 2 weeks if she didn't wake up.  In 2 weeks that would mark 5 months of what happened in 2 weeks lily could be standing right next to him or not even with him.  2 weeks.  2 weeks can do a lot to someone.

Lily's POV

"Lily come on, wake up, I need you, Maya needs you, Jonah needs you, everyone needs you, don't leave me today.  Please lily. Please"

Daniel? Daniel.  

"Come on lily it's been 5 months don't leave me.  I need you" 

5 months 5 months of what why can't i wake up.  

"Sir we need to pull the plug I'm sorry" 

And there's it was, again everything went black.  And then it wasn't 

"I understand, goodbye lily, I love you" 

I look around I hear a moniter stop.  And suddenly I have to choices a light path that seems very nice or a dark path with a light at the end but that way seems to cold.  Until I hear "goodbye lily" once again.  And I start running it into the light but away towards the way of Daniel's voice and suddenly.  I can feel it, o can feel myself growing closer to him.  I feel him kiss my head and squeeze my hand.  I took everything I had left and I tried to squeeze back.  

"Oh my god lily, your awake"  he felt me squeeze his hand 

"Lily can you open your eyes for me" but I was still running still running twords him but I was close just a little bit further. 

"Lily come on" he cried, 

 I was still running, running to Daniel, just a little bit further and... there 

I open my eyes, I see Daniel.  And Daniel sees me.
