Part 33

Daniel's POV

"Her parents"

What did she mean her parents I thought they left, Lily doesn't need that right now, we are her family, we don't give up on her when life gets hard. She doesn't deserve them, if I ever see them again there's only 2 things I'm going to do one which is maditory and one where I just have always known that it was the right thing to do. My thoughts were interrupted by the doctor clearing his throat.

"Ahem, I regret to inform you that Lily is not doing the best she possibly could. She is suffering from a broken leg along with 6 cracked ribs and internal bleeding. We have stoped the internal bleeding and her rips are slowly recovering, and her leg is in a cast. She is in a coma, we do not know when or if she will wake up. It could take hours or it could take months."

And just like that my world crumbled to my feet. I fell to the ground and just started to cry, no not my lily. Why me. Why me. I just need her in my arms telling me she's ok that we're ok. I just need her. I need to be able to cuddle her and tell her she's beautiful. I need to be able to kiss her and tell her I love her. I need to see her smile. I need to hear her laugh. I need her to be ok.

"I'm terribly sorry, you can all vist her if you would like" we all slowly nodded our heads and followed him into the room she was lying in. We all just looked at her and started to cry. No one knew what to do.
