It's been 3 years. 3 years since she last saw him, since she last heard his voice, since she last hugged him.
"(Y/N) Hiddleston is a singer/songwriter and is currently on her first world tour. She seemed to pop up out of nowhere taking the world by storm in only a short 2 years. Everyone give a huge welcome to (Y/N)!"
"Hey guys! Hey Ellen" The young singer hugged Ellen and waved to the crowed.
"So first world tour, excited?"
"Yeah I'm loving it so far and I've only done 3 shows! I love getting the chance to meet my fans and getting to put my music out there." The girl smiled at one of her biggest idols.
"So for those people that have been living under a rock and don't know you tell us how you rose to stardom"
"So I started playing my songs at school talent shows which were also posted on YouTube which was where I started getting my name out. I started playing in restaurants and bars and just started getting my name out in my community and yeah, I dunno it all happened so fast I got called up by Safe house records saying they wanted to sign me and get me in the studio as soon as possible and of course I said yes cause it's always been a huge dream of mine."
"Who is your biggest fan do you think?"
"It would have had to be my brother. He was always at my gigs and was always raving about me to his friends."
"Is he here with you today?"
(Y/N) took a deep breath.
"I'd like to think so. He died 3 years ago from cancer. He was 26. He made me promise to keep doing music and to look after myself. He promised he would always be with me wether it was in my heart or in person. He was my best friend." The crowd awes
"You have a tattoo dedicated to him right?" The girl nodded
"We were really big Harry Potter fans and whenever I was feeling like I was in this dark tunnel in my life he would always quote the movie. So I got 'Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light'. It always just stuck to me, it was our thing."
"That's sweet unfortunately we have run out of time but it was amazing to talk to you (Y/N)"
"You too Ellen thank you for having me" she hugged Ellen and went home.
She looked at a picture of her and her brother and a tear escaped her eye.
"You can come back now Tommy" she whispered quietly as she slept with the picture right beside her.
It was after all the anniversary of his death.
