A Lost Claws

Dojima-san is not a cat person.

As days progressed, things have slowly gotten better ever since Adachi tried to adapt his new life in the Dojima residence. Since it was raining more than ever, Nanako had some time to spend with her Tamana-chan. Whether it be getting kisses, sleeping on the bed,  watching news, eating cabbages, or even being a little troll towards Yuu, who believed that cat looked very familiar for some reason but did not continue to heed mind to that. He could not be happier than being a part of their lives.

And while that's the case, he'd end up getting bored quickly. One time, Nanako warned his Nanako always told his cat friend that his old partner was not a cat person...in fact he HATED cats. So Adachi would have to be very cautious about meeting him. 

However, Adachi, being the troll that he was, wanted to have a little fun with him. So he began to sneak off when Nanako and Yuu weren't looking to do so. "Not a cat person, eh?" He mewed with a smirk on his face. "We'll see about that when I play with him." He proceeded towards where Dojima was making his coffee, making sure his footing did not make a single sound when leaping from point A to point B.

He then peaked his head above the table, analyzing the situation. "Now how should I play with you?" He then noticed Dojima about to throw away his precious cabbage in the garbage. "No...not on my watch." Adachi growled, but then noticed that Dojima could hear him, so right when the police of a dad could turn around, the cat quickly hid beneath the table.

"What was that?" Dojima grumbled in confusion. "Did I just seriously hear a cat meow?" He began to check under the table and to his surprise, there was no cat in sight.  And this was because Adachi  secretly hid on the bottom part on the table like the cat he was. 

"Must be hearing things..." Dojima grumbled as he went to the table to drink his coffee and watch TV, giving Adachi the perfect oppurtunity to strategize his plan. Then he thought of something...what if he grabbed Dojima's keys that was on his pocket and threw it in the trash like he did to the cabbage? It would be not only fool-proof, but also hilarious...that is...if he could do it with sharp teeth and opposable thumbs. 

He thought and he thought and finally an answer. He could mess up Dojima's pants by spilling food all over him. That way he could take his clothes off along with the keys and then just put them in the dryer. He would have to take the keys and throw it away in the trash it's fool proof.

So he quietly darted towards the table only to find coffee sitting right next to the police officer. Adachi slowly and quietly knocked it over his pants, causing Dojima himself to curse in frustration.

But then about second later, Dojima turned to see what appeared to be a cat tail hiding in the table. Then he had an idea as a smirk plastered on his face. "Gee, I wonder what that was about." He sarcastically said as he slowly placed his hands in the direction where on Adachi's back was. "It's not like there's not a...CAT UNDER THE TABLE!" But as he did, the cat scratched him on the hand and hissed, waiting for him to strike.

And strike did Dojima do. He tried catching that beast but ended up knocking the table, luckily there wasn't any food or drinks on it except for the coffee.

As the cop started chasing the cat, Adachi thought, Forget the saving the cabbage. This might also be fun. I might enjoy putting this guy out of misery. 

And so the chase continued, from the kitchen to the garden and so forth, the cat was indeed having fun even more than when he was with Nanako. As for Dojima this was worse than having to solve terrible crimes back then. And what's even worse for them was that it was still raining.

And when Nanako was walking to see what was going on, she was in incredible disbelief that she couldn't move at all. Her Tamana-chan, her new best friend, was becoming a naughty cat. Yuu couldn't do anything either because the cat was way too fast for his eyes.
