Around 5:00 Hailey and Laila left, Laila's parents came for her, and Grayson came in an Uber for Hailey. Logan came to pick up Cassie, but upon realizing the boys were here he stayed a little. I was up in my room with Cassie as the boys just ran around and yelled downstairs. "Do you think Laila is gonna be worse tomorrow because of what happened today?" Cassie asked, "I don't know. I hope not, cuz I don't wanna go to the nurses office again." I said working on the timeline. She sat next to me and looked it over. "It's good, I bet we get a good grade on it." She said, I nodded. "Hey Cassie, we gotta go." Logan said poking his head in. We both nodded and got up. "It's gonna be fine tomorrow." I whispered to Cassie hugging her, she smiled and nodded. "Bye Grace!" She called running over to Logan, "Bye Cassie!" I yelled, and shut the door. I heard yelling from the living room and ran in to find Zach and Jonah in an intense video game battle. "I play winner!" I yelled jumping over the couch as the boys continued yelling. How did I ever feel unsafe here?
Zach's POV
The next morning I was walking Grace to school again. She had successfully beaten all of us in our video game war last night, but today it was back to school. "Ready?" I asked as Grace grabbed her bag, "Yea, we have to present today." She said, I cringed internally, "This is why online school!" I said, she giggled and opened the door. I felt my phone buzz, "Why is Logan texting me about a new kid at school?" I asked, she snatched my phone, "It's Cassie texting, a new girl? I hope we find her before Laila..." Grace muttered tapping the phone, "Since when does...Ok." I said as Grace handed me my phone and ran off to school. I looked back at my phone asking shook my head, "Logan, you gotta be more careful about your phone." I said shaking my head.
