a small "kakao~" was heard from guanyi's phone making him stop from reading the dictionary. he unlocked his phone and smile as his phone lit up and showed a message from a girl, who obviously he also loves dearly.

him, minghao, dianjia and junyi were actually currently studying at the living room, practically getting ready for the up coming test. well to be honest, the second quarter exam is still 3 months away, but they insisted to study in advance anyway.

guanyi quickly opened the message and after a moment he— “ahhh!” he squealed as he finishes reading the message from her.

the three elder boys got startled and jumped a little from their places at him suddenly squealing. they also stopped reading the books they're holding and glared at guanyi.

guanyi doesn't seem to notice them darting him glares. “is this a prank or what?” guanyi giggled as he taps a few times and a few more times at his phone, and after a moment another small "kakao~" was heard from his phone. he again started squealing after he read the reply from her.

the elder ones was still glaring and him, and his squeals was getting louder and louder. “okay, i'd had enough” dianjia declared as he then stood up from his place and walked towards guanyi furiously.

junyi and minghao wanted to stop dianjia but then they thought that it's also for the sake of the sleeping mrs. mei  lui (who is guanyi's mother) and the younger ones. besides it's almost 9 p.m, which means it's also getting pretty late.

dianjia spanked guanyi's head with his hand {but not to hard/harsh} to make him stop making noises, which dianjia succeeded in.

“ouch!— was what that supposed to be?” guanyi turned to dianjia and rubbed his head.

“what's the noise all about?” a small boy asked as he yawned and rubbed his eyes along with the two other small boys

everyone turned to look at the small boys, it was linma who spoke, and he was walking down from the stairs along with enshou and jaikai. with of course, a sleepy expression plastered on their faces

dianjia let out a low tone groaned and slapped guanyi again but this time it was in guanyi's shoulder. guanyi yelped and asked the same thing he asked a moment ago.

“the first one was for disturbing and probably for distracting us from studying and for making such noises.” he continued “and the second one was for waking the younger ones up!” he finishes madly, almost yelling it.

junyi and minghao silently giggled at the sight of dianjia scolding guanyi for making such noises and {accidentally} waking the younger ones up. to be exact, dianjia looked like a mother scolding guanyi— which looked like his son, who just stealed a candy, lollipop or what ever candy it is from a kid

“i want to go back to sleep” enshou yawned and rubbed his eyes gently. junyi looked at enshou then to the other younger boys and flashed a small smile

“come on, i'll put you boys back to sleep.” junyi exclaimed as he gathered the young sleepy boys. he told minghao that he'll be going upstairs to put enshou and the others back to sleep. minghao nodded his head and bid his good nights to the younger boys.

junyi pulled the soft and warm blanket up to jaikai's chest “good night.” junyi smiled as jaikai's eyes slowly closed, which means that he was also slowly drifting to dream land. junyi's smile grew wider as he glanced at the other boys laying on their own beds, that are basically already asleep.

junyi walked to door, took a last glance  at the younger boys and then turned off the lights of the room. he gently closed the door behind his back and went to back to the other boys at the living room.

“what did i miss?” junyi asked as he approached minghao.

minghao glanced at junyi “oh, nothing much.” minghao stated as junyi sat beside him and picked up the book he was reading earlier.

“so what did i miss?”

minghao smirked as he then faced junyi “guanyi just said that he'll be bringing a girl here at home, that will basically will be living with us for who knows how long”

“a girl? isn't —”

“here's your glass of milk your highnesses.” guanyi said sarcastically as he placed down a tray that has four glasses of milk

guanyi sat down at the couch beside junyi as he then grabbed a glass of milk from the coffee table.

“ugh, i hate dianjia hyung” guanyi confessed, but in korean

junyi and minghao started to giggle again silently as they also grab a glass of milk for their selves.

“wait, where's dianjia?” asked junyi

“he's at our room to grab a pen, since the one he was using was already out of ink.” guanyi explained.

“—it's already 9:18, aren't we soppused to sleep now?” asked minghao as he finishes his milk

“welp, we'll sleep after we finish drinking our glass of milk.” junyi answered as he took a sip of his.

after a few moments guanyi and junyi finally finished their milks, just in time when they were heading to their room dianjia had came out carrying a new fountain pen. “where are you going?” asked dianjia

“sleep.”

“but—”

“no more buts dianjia, just go finish your glass of milk; it's at the coffee table at the living room. then just go to our after you finish your milk” minghao declared.
