Chapter 1: This Takes so Much Effort

Hey, people! Just in case your wondering, it was not my idea to make this story, but I went along with it and decided to write it. Bubbles and Boomer was the girls's favorite couple of powerpuff girls, and kept telling me to write a fanfiction of the couple. But I disagreed. We both agreed that if there was any fanfiction at all, it would have all three of them in. This is going to take the effort I don't have, but I'll do my best...

Chapter 1: This Takes So Much Effort

Bubbles' POV

I ran on the sidewalk trying to get to school on time. I spent too much time deciding on what to wear, I said silently to myself.

My blonde curls of pigatils were slightly boucing up and down on my shoulders. I ran, but not fast enough to cause any mishaps with my new baby blue and white striped dress and flats. 

I sighed. Kaoru and Momoko aren't going to be happy if I'm late, neither will Grandmother, especially since it's the first day of high school.

By the time I ran in the school building, the five-minutes-until-class-bell just rang. I made it on time.

"What took you so long? You were almost late." Kaoru said to me as she walked in front of me. Momoko was standing right beside her.

Just before I could answer her, Momoko interrupted me. "It doesn't matter right now. The second beel will ring if we don't hurry to class," She was right. We had to get to our lockers first.

We were walking together when we approached our lockers. It's a great thing that the Mayor made the high school have our assigned lockers right next to each other. But our classes are slightly different. At least we had our first class together: homeroom. I smiled as we walked to our lockers. I knew the ninth grade was going to be our best year yet!

"Huh? That's weird," said Momoko. Kaoru and I looked at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Look at your homeroom teacher on your schedule. It says mine is Miss Keane," We did what she said. It said my homeroom is Miss Keane! She was our teacher last year in middle school. What was she doing at the high school? We had kept walking with a second thought to where we were headed. 

Oof!  The next thing we knew, we had been pushed back and onto the floor.

As we were all on the floor, Kaoru stood up and yelled "What are you three idiots doing here?" I looked at our counterparts sitting opposite of us on the floor.

I couldn't believe it. What were The Rowdyruff Boys doing at New Townsville High School? More importantly, what were they doing at school, period? I looked at Boomer and his face turned red.

"We're s-sorry," he mumbled.

Brick looked at Kaoru and said "Do we know you?" That's perfect! They didn't recognize us! But if Kaoru starts talking, our secret will be discovered.

I'm guessing Momoko was thinking the same thing I was because she immediately stood up and covered Kaoru's mouth."Nope! You don't know us and probably never will. I think it's time for us to go now!" She said awkwardly and dragged Kaoru to our homeroom.

I realized I was still on the ground, so I stood up and bowed as fast I could and said "We're sorry! It was all our fault!" and ran after Momoko and Kaoru. We made it to Miss Keane's new high school class with about two minutes to spare. I'm glad we don't have to bring anything on the first day of school or it would have been a big mess!

We took seats at the back of the room like we always did. "How come those Ruffs have to be here and ruin everything?" Kaoru complained," We were already too busy after school, but during school, too? We could barely get a full day of classtime with all the villains running around during the day last year,"
