Youngjae-Jihyo: Confession

"Yah, yah. Stop staring and just go talk to her." Jinyoung spoke as soon as he took the seat in front of his friend.

"It's easy to say that Jinyoung hyung, but very hard to do." Youngjae answered as he looked dreamily to the girl that is three tables away from theirs.

Jinyoung tsk'ed and proceeded to eat his food anyways. His friend Youngjae, has been crushing on her girlfriend's best friend, Park Jihyo, ever since the girl transferred to their school. He couldn't blame his friend, Jihyo is one, if not most, of the talented singers in their school. She's brainy and very influential. On top of that she's very pretty too, but he never said that 'cause his girlfriend would kill him.

"Jinyoung-ah." Nayeon called as she entered the cafeteria. Jinyoung stood up and gave her a hug before the girl trotted her way to her friends' table. Before Nayeon could go far, Jinyoung pulled her again and whispered something.

Youngjae just smiled at Nayeon before eating his food. He was surprised when someone sat beside him and in front of him. It was Nayeon and one of her best friends, Jeongyeon. He was glad when his crush, Jihyo, was not with them.

"I got myself a dessert, is that a bad thing?" So much for being glad. He heard Jihyo's voice as he felt someone sit beside him. Nayeon just chuckled at her best friend and asked for a bite of her dessert.

"I'll go ahead first. Need to meet someone." Jeongyeon said as Jihyo took her place. They bid their goodbyes to the tall girl and proceeded to eat their lunch.

"Jihyo-yah, I want you to meet my boyfriend, Park Jinyoung and his friend, Youngjae, though I think you already know them." Nayeon introduced the two guys and Jinyoung scolded her lightly for pointing her fork to people.

"Oh, I know your guy. You were always talking about him. And I know Youngjae too, the teachers are always talking about him. It's nice to finally put a face on that name." Jihyo answered and smiled at the guys. Jinyoung just smiled back and Youngjae waved his hand awkwardly at the girl.

"I'm Jihyo by the way."

"Oh, he knows you. Very well." Jinyoung said with a teasing voice that's why Youngjae sent him his best glare. To which Jinyoung and Nayeon found cute. The guy was so soft he couldn't even glare.

"Isn't he cute Jihyo?" Nayeon teased. And Jihyo choked on her dessert. Youngjae offered her a drink as she whispered a small thanks.

"Ah, y-yes he is." Jihyo stuttered as she glared at her best friend. If Youngjae is cute, then Jihyo's glare made Nayeon shiver in her seat. She cleared her throat as she stood up and fixed her things.

"Let's go Jihyo-ah. We need to finish our homework before the start of afternoon classes." She said as she dragged Jihyo with her. They bid a haste goodbye as they run to their classroom.

"What was that hyung?" Youngjae asked, obviously embarrassed at the situation earlier.

"I just asked my girlfriend a little favour. I'm a nice friend, aren't I?" He teased and Youngjae slapped his back.

"Hey, why can't you be thankful? At least we know now that she thinks you're cute." Jinyoung retorted while massaging his back.

They both headed to their respective afternoon classes after lunch. Jinyoung has dance classes while Youngjae has composition classes.

"Hey, you heading out already?" Jaebum asked Youngjae who was busy looking for something inside his bag.

"You can go ahead hyung." Youngjae was almost panicking. He can't find his notebook.

"Are you looking for something?" Jaebum asked the obvious. Youngjae already thrashed his bag and he still can't find what he is looking for.

"Y-yeah. My notebook. The red big notebook. It has a lot of doodles on the cover." Youngjae answered him distractedly as he fixes his things inside his bag.
