"OOOOOOOoooooo?" Everything around me changed. I wasn't in the capsule anymore. Instead, I was in a very white room with a very large puddle underneath me. I realized that I was wet and felt my teeth chatter. People in white lab coats stared at me with amazement and began scribbling down notes on their clipboards. Then one of them walked up to me with a towel and gave it to me. I just held onto it, realizing just how cold I was. Then the lady pulled me into a tight hug. I just stood there while the woman hugged me so tight that I was finding it hard to breath.
"Twenty years," She whispered into my ear, tears rolling down my face. I finally managed to push her off of me.
"Who are you?" I said, cautiously stepping back, creating more distance between me and the woman.
"Wow, I guess I have aged," She laughed as she wiped a tear off her face, "It's me, Melissa,"
"No you're not," I said. This woman looked like she was in her late thirties or early forties. Melissa was sixteen and had the most flawless skin. Her shiny blonde hair was always left down. This woman had worry lines and her hair was beginning to grey. I mean this woman looked like... an older version of Melissa.
It suddenly dawned on me that this woman WAS an older Melissa. Questions flooded my mind and I just spit out the first one I could think of.
"What happened that night?"
