My nerves cause me to bite at my lip as I wait for my beautiful fiancé to step out of the back of the church and onto the red carpet.  My best man and friend, Albert, smirks at me and pats me on the back reassuringly.  I give him a glare as he begins to make kiss faces at me.

Swatting him away, I turn to face the front again, gazing at all my family and friends with a big smile on my face.  The music starts up suddenly, startling me.  I take a deep breath and bit my lip again.

Out come the brides maids, led by Sarah, the maid of honour.  A small break comes after them, followed by my beautiful bride.  It’s like the air is sucked out of me as my gaze lands on her.

Her brown hair is pulled back, falling straight around her face.  Her white dress shines, bending and curving with her body, flaring out at the waist.  Finally my eyes land on her face.  Her skin is literally glowing with happiness, her eyes bright and her smile wide.

Eventually she ends up next to me, with the priest saying the vows beside us.  But I don’t actually see him, with my eyes trained on my wife’s face.  I snap out of my trance as the priest begins the I do’s.

“Do you, Madeline Rebecca Laurense, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?”  He announces out, his voice echoing throughout the large room. She nods.

“I do,” She says lightly, her white teeth gleaming as she speaks.  The priest turns to me.

“Do you, Drew Anders Seeker, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?”

“I do,” I rush out, smiling in happiness. I bite my lip and pull her to me, waiting for the signal.

“You may kiss the bride” The priest chuckles out.  I crash my lips down on hers, hearing applause and cheering.  We kiss a bit longer and then leave for dinner.  The whole time I am in a daze, my eyes constantly following Maddie’s figure.  We dance throughout the night, laughing and enjoying ourselves.

Near the end of the night, Maddie and I are dancing slowly, with her head on my chest and my chin on top of her head.  Someone next to us clears their throat.  Looking over, I see that it is Sarah.  I give a small smile and my beautiful bride breaks away from me to give her a tight hug, whispering something in her ear.

She nods and Maddie walks away, motioning for the two of us to dance.  I shake my head slightly at her antics and grip Sarah’s hands lightly.  Her own wedding ring rubs against my finger as we swing back and forth.

“Thank you for introducing us,” I say kindly, remembering our own ruined relationship.  She smiles and nods, looking at me like she was remembering us as well.

“When Albert and I got engaged, he wanted you as his best man, so I decided to see how you and my own maid of honour got along first,” She pauses, looking around with a smile, “looks like you guys got along just fine.”

I laugh and pull her into a hug, closing my eyes.  A sharp laugh breaks into the quiet.  I look up and I see Maddie running around with my nephew and niece in-law.  I smile and back up from Sarah, placing my hand on her shoulder.

“Well, we better not let my wife have all the fun.” I say and pull her over to my Bride.  We run around a bit, and before I know it, Maddie and I are leaning against each other, looking out the window of our plane, off on our honeymoon.

Maddie rests her head on my shoulder, looking up at me.  I place a quick kiss on her forehead, and she smiles tiredly.

“Go to sleep my love,” I say, “I will wake you when we get there.”

“I love you Mr. Seeker.” She states, closing her eyes.

“And I love you Mrs. Seeker.” I say back.

Placing my arm around her, I look out the window and into the dark.  A shooting star passes above us.  I have everything I want and I don't need to wish for anything.  I smile with that thought and let my eyes flutter closed.
