"You ready?" Kurt asked Blaine in a soft voice.

Blaine held Kurt's hand saying "Lets go".

As they walked in, they immediately bumped into Cooper.

"Blaine!" Cooper exclaimed wrapping Blaine in a hug.

"I missed you, Coop!" Blaine said returning Cooper's hug.

"It's nice to see you too, Kurt." Cooper said, smiling at Kurt.

"So, was I the last to find out about mom?" Blaine asked Cooper.

Cooper said, "actually, you were the first person I called. I was, um, the first person to find out".

Blaine and Kurt both gasped at the same time.

Shocked, Blaine asked "Coop, what happened? Were you there?"

Cooper's voice cracked saying "I was home for the weekend, so I walked in the kitchen, and I heard a scream and-" Cooper burst in sobs.

Blaine pulled his brother onto his shoulder and let him cry.

Kurt looked at both Cooper and Blaine with worried eyes.

After a minute, Cooper pulled himself together and said, "Wow, sorry about that, B".

"No need to apologize, Coop, it's completely fine." Blaine reassured.

"Are you ok?" Kurt asked, worry filling his voice.

Cooper cleared his throat, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."

Blaine looked a little skeptical, but decided to drop the matter.

"So where was I? Oh, yeah. So I walked into the kitchen and I heard screaming from down the hall. I ran to the dining room and found mom on the ground. I tried to wake her, but nothing was working. She was dead". Cooper choked back a sob and cleared his throat.

Blaine and Kurt both wore shocked expressions, they just noticed they both had a steady stream of tears running down their faces.

After a long moment of silence, Kurt, voice shaking, asked, "What do you think happened?"

Cooper replied, "I-I don't know, she didn't have any injuries that I could tell."

Blaine asked the question he'd been dreading, "Do you think it was dad?"

Cooper said, "Maybe, but dad's not dumb, he knew I was coming home for the weekend so he wouldn't kill her then.

Kurt didn't know what to say. All he could think about was that Blaine's mother may have been murdered, and the murderer could very well be in the same room as them.
