The second you put your foot in the dining hall, you heard the loudest fucking shriek of your life. You quickly ran into the dining hall to see everyone's eyes directly on you, as if they've just seen a ghost. Tenko almost flipped over the chair as she jumped out of her seat and ran towards you, wrapping her arms around you in a loving embrace.

"(F/N)!!! We thought you had gotten killed!" She dramatically wailed into your shoulder. She had a death grip on you and you knew for a fact she had no desire to let go, so you tightly embraced her back to confirm that you truly were there in the flesh and blood.

"Yeah! Gonta thought something bad happen to (F/N)!" He sobbed, still clasping his hands together over his chest. He ran up to you and Tenko and knelt before you, embracing the both of you in a warm hug.

"Alas, (F/N) arrives unharmed! I knew that nothing would have happened to her. After all, she's more than capable of defending any fiend who dare comes her way." Kiyo beamed, swiftly striding up to you and tucking his arms behind him as he bowed towards you to place his head on your shoulder.

"You were just having a fuckin' ass attack about it before she walked in! But hey, least fish lips over here didn't get murked." miu mocked with a cocky grin. You instantly puckered your lips at her, and she sheepishly returned the gesture. You loved how you both dish insults out to each other, and take the hit knowing it's meant to be endearing.

"I'm so glad you're okay! See you guys, I knew she was just sleeping in!" Kaede cheered, bouncing over to wriggle her way in the hug, resting her head against your chest in ease. She knew you were safe and alive, and she was more than grateful for that, you knew it.

Through the warm moment, you felt a tap on your thigh, causing you to hazily look down. Beneath all of the entangled arms stood a boy no taller than 3'5", staring up at you with big black eyes. Warmth filled your heart as you smiled down at him with pure happiness, and he softly smiled back up at you.

"Glad you're still alive, (F/N)." Ryoma earnestly stated. You gave him an adorable toothy grin as you leaned your way out of the encasement of linked arms to scoop up the boy and bring him into the embrace.

"I'm happy you have arrived safe, miss (L/N). I prepared some special food items and tea for you for when you came down. We were all very concerned about you." Kirumi inquired.

You gave her a soft smile of empathy and apology, and nodded at her. She nodded back and gracefully moved into the kitchen to grab the prepared food, disappearing from sight.

"Praise be Atua, she's alive." Angie hummed to herself as she stared off into the distance, a gentle smile plastered on her face.

"Yeah, it's good to see you haven't died yet." Himiko said quite blandly, but through her monotone voice, you knew there was relief.

"Good to see you're finally here. I was starting to get worried. But then again, you're pretty tough. I doubt much could genuinely kill you." You heard softly from behind you. A warm hand cupped your cheek, and you absentmindedly leaned into it feeling the soft skin rub against your cheek. You knew exactly who it was, and it comforted you to know he was there.

"Glad to see you too, Rantaro." You cooed, softly chuckling into his smooth hand.

Suddenly, through the haze of admiration and comfort, something rang in your ears. It was like a knife cutting your ties from the sweet escape from reality, shoving you back into the world you had to face. It was a voice to be specific, one that was high pitched and extremely fucking whiney.

"(F/N)~! Why don't you give me a hug, too~?" It pleaded. You opened your eyes and shot a glare directly to your right. There stood a boy not at short as Ryoma, but definitely shorter than you, beaming up at you with innocent looking violet eyes. His hands were formed into tight fists by his chest, and a giant smile was stapled on his face. His deep purple eyes looked innocent, but deep down you could feel the melting pot of evil intent that was his blackened heart.
