I sat with Kyle as we ate lunch together. He was a nice person. But I don't think anything will come from this.

He walked me to my desk.

"Thank you for agreeing to this date." He said. I smiled. "Thank you for asking. It was nice." I said. He bent over and kissed my cheek.

Then he walked away.

I sat with Lucy. "Boss didn't seem to like what he saw." She sung. I looked up and saw James seething, as he looked at the door.

I gulped.

I quickly got threw work. And went home.

"Honey? Is that you?" My mom asked. "Yeah mom." I sighed. She walked out. "You ok?" She asked. I shook my head, 'no'.

I sat on the kitchen counter. I handed her the paper.

"He wants me to do this order. It's going to show if he should hire me." I said, upset. "Well that's good! Why do you sound so upset about it." She asked.

"He wants me to lie on the report." I told her the story. "He said, that I won't get the job if I don't lie. Mom. I can't lie." I said. My eyes started to tear up.

"I need this job mom. I can get a place. This job can make it happen." I said. She tool my hand. "God knew that this was going to happen. Now I'll make your favourite dinner." She said.

My mom always thought food would help fix anything. We didn't have a lot of money. But we have enough.

"Mom... what should I do?" I sighed. "When do you need to give him an answer?" She asked."tomorrow at 10." I said. "You do what your heart tells you. And you call me if you are let go. Alright?" She said.

I nodded.

I put on a navy blue pencil skirt, with a matching suit jacket, a white silky shirt, I put some tights on, and navy blue heels.

I put my hair in a fancy pony tail. I put some make-up on, ans got ready to leave.

My parents hugged me. "Remember to call. If you don't, we'll know everything is alright." Mom said. I nodded. Then left.

I picked up my hot chocolate, and Mr. Browning's coffee.

Then went to the office.

I saw he was I already in his office. I stopped in my tracks. I took a deep breath. "I can do this." I whispered to myself.

Then knocked on the door.

"Come in." I heard him call. I walked in. He saw me and smiled brightly, making my heart quicken.

I handed him his coffee.

"Good morning Sir. How are you doing today?" I asked. He motions me to sit. So I did. "I don't know just yet. Have you had time to think on the assignment?" He asked. I nodded.

"And what's your answer?" He asked. This is it the moment of truth.

"Even though I truly want to work here Sir. I can't do what you say." I said. He cocked his head to the side. "And why is that?" He asked.

"Because it'll go against my religion. My God wouldn't want me to lie on that report. I'm sorry." He sighed.

"You do know what this does to my decision?" He asked. I nodded and looked at my lap. "Yes Sir.... I know." I said.

I heard him stand.

"Miss. Jacobs? Can I shake your hand?" I looked up. Confused. But I stood an shook his hand.

"You just have me the right answer. I've been looking for the right person. And I was so close to giving up. I'm going to hire you not only way sanctuary. But also my personal assistant. If you'll take it?" He asked.

I smiled brightly.

"Yes sir! I'd be honoured to sir. Thank you!" He chuckled. "Then the job is yours. Congratulations. We will have a party tomorrow. Then you'll start." He said.

I went to my desk and called my parents.

'Hello?' My mother sounded like she was going to cry. "Mom?" I said. I heard her start to sob. 'Oh my sweet baby! It's ok! God knew this will happen. He will provide for us.' She cried.

"Mom. No. I wasn't let go.." I said. 'I know baby. It's ok baby.' She sobbed. "Mom. Your not listening to me. I wasn't let go! I was hired!" We cried.

"God has provided for us!" I said.

"Mom I have to go. I love you. Tell everybody I love them. And that God has answered our prayers." She said she would.

Oh thank you my Lord.
