Dinner And A Show

*Chris's POV*

  "You nervous, man?" Ricky asked me as I got ready. I was going to propose to Sin tonight. We had the venue booked, and instead of taking her out to a restaurant, I was taking her on a picnic, since I know she hates being around people.

  I sorted through my closet, trying to pick out what I was going to wear. Sin and I would leave in about half an hour, and Motionless In White would take the stage in three hours.

  "Yeah, I'm pretty nervous.." I admitted, "I mean, fuck, I'm only going to ask the love of my life to marry me, no big deal there." Ricky sat on my bed and thought. "Don't then."

  I flipped around. "Excuse me?" "Don't ask her to marry you. You guys are already great, and you know she's yours forever either way. And hey, marriage really does change people."

  I glared at him. "You can give marriage advice when you marry Jealousy." I snapped, and then sighed. "I'm sorry, I'm just scared she's going to say no..." I said, sitting on the bed next to him.

"She's going to say yes, I promise you Chris."

*At the show*

  We finished playing A-M-E-R-I-C-A, and had two songs left: City Lights, and Sin's favorite, Immaculate Misconception. I looked at the guys, who nodded at me.

  I faced the crowd and yelled into the mike, "WHAT'S UP SCRANTON?! ARE WE HAVING FUCKING FUN TONIGHT?!" I waited while the crowd screamed, and someone threw a bracelet at Ryan.

  Ryan picked up the bracelet and put it on, and I addressed the crowd again. "Alright you fucking Creatures, there's a girl in this crowd tonight who means the world to me, and I want her to come up here right now.

  "Sin, get the fuck up here." The crowd went nuts when I said her name, and she climbed up onto the stage, looking sheepish. "Why the fuck am I up here?" she whispered. I smiled at her and motioned for the guys to start playing.

  We went through the song, me keeping an arm around her the entire time, and the fans all sang along. When it was over, it was the moment I had been waiting for.

  I took one last look at Ricky, and he nodded. I took a deep breath and got down on one knee, pulling the ring out of my pocket. The fans screamed the loudest I've ever heard, and I forced myself to ignore them.

  "Sin Gates, you are the most beautiful girl in the entire world. You are funny, sweet, smart, caring, ballsy, and all around amazing. Everything about you is perfect. Your mind, voice, body, heart, soul, eyes.

  "I've met a lot of girls while touring, but none of them come anywhere close to being as wonderful as you. You make my life so much better each and every day, and no matter what happens you are always by my side."

  I paused to set down the mike and held one of her hands. "Sin, will you be my wife?" Sin burst into tears as she nodded and exclaimed, "Yes!" I rose to my feet and hugged her tightly, enjoying the perfection of that moment.

  She kissed me passionately, and I whispered to her that I needed to end the show. She smiled, kissed my cheek, and went off backstage. "Alright you fuckers!" I yelled into the mike after picking it up, "We got one last song, you guys wanna hear this shit?!"

  We finished the song, and I thanked the crowd, then ran off stage to find Sin. She was sitting on the floor against a wall with Jealousy, looking at the ring on her finger.

  I smiled largely, my heart fluttering inside my chest, and walked over to them, squatting down to face Sin. "Hello beautiful." I greeted her. She giggled and said, "Hey baby."

  "Chris, that was legitimately the cutest thing ever in the world." Jealousy squealed, and Sin and I both laughed at her. I looked at Sin, taking in every ounce of her perfection. I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
