Meanwhile downstairs.

"And what about the ones running down south? I'm not sending my boys on a suicide mission, not even for you Luce. It's getting too dangerous to run drugs south of the border. I cant run if I have no workers!" Perro said banging his fist on the table. The others flinched, but not Lucifer. He stared solely at the cards in his hand.

"Perro, my oldest friend, I understand. The boy's running for us come to be family." Lucifer chuckled. "Speaking of family, how's that grandchild of yours? I hear she's trying to get into Princeton, yes? I'm golfing buddies with the dean, it would be a shame if they were to decline her wouldn't it?" He took a sip from his cup and finally looked up at Perro.

Perro's eyes squinted at Lucifer, then relaxed. Deep inside Perro knew he could do nothing to stop him. With a final sigh, he let his head fall. "I'll hire on new people to test how far we can go without being caught eh? Will that do?"

Luce simply smirked and laid his cards on the table, revealing a royal flush. Ace, king, queen, jack, and a 10; all spades. "Looks like I win I guess." Luce said. His eyes glistened over, each and every person at that table caught the hint of snake in them, yet they all chose to ignore it.

A housekeeper came to clear the table as the men got up. Lucifer stood at the door having small talk as each left. The very last one seemed to linger but walked to the door when everyone else left.

"Al. What can I do for you? I do hope you enjoyed our little weekly game." Lucifer said with a sinister smile.

"Indeed I did Apollyon. I like how you handle business." Al whispered.

Lucifer nearly flinched. "It's been awhile since I've been called that. Do tell me, how do you know me by this name?"

"It's all I've ever known you as. This 'Lucifer' is new to me. Must be an American thing I guess." Al snickered, flicking his cigarette. "As I was saying, the way you handle business is good. You have potential."

At this something in the back of Lucifer's head clicked. Before he spoke his mind he gained control of his thoughts. "Yes, of course. So you're interested?"

After a final flick, Al put his cigarette out on the concrete statue. "All I can say is I'll be in touch." He got in the Rolls Royce and sped away.
