"I see you've been missing me, little brother," said Lillian and walked over to Wren and ruffled his hair.
"Oh, so very much," he replied sarcastically.
Wren couldn't understand why she was back. After all, hadn't she abandoned them when they needed her.
"Lillian," said Wren,"can I talk to you for a second?"
She smiled, a cocky, insensitive, smile.
"Of course."

"What the heck are you doing here? You just waltz in like you know the place," he shouted, careful not to be too loud, as to Starr would hear.

"What are you talking about, brother? I've been going here ever since I was a kid."
She acted so innocent, almost believable.

"Stop playing games with me, Lillian. You were working for Xander, had been for almost a year. You can't just expect us to welcome you with open arms," Wren said, although he didn't want to be angry with his sister he was.

"I thought you trusted me," she said with her sweet little voice she had used to manipulate countless people.

"It's gonna take a lot for any of us to trust you again. And I don't even think you've really changed. You could be working for Xander right now."

She snorted. "Yeah, work with him again? He used me. You know I wouldn't do that, and you're forgetting something. Starr trusts me."

Xander had toyed with Lillian, making her believe he loved her when really he was just using her to get information from The Marked. She had given up on him, of course, but it seemed like something was up.

"Okay, fine. Whatever. Just know this. I'll be watching you and if I ever find out your working for someone who's against us, I promise I'll never trust you again."

Of course, she was used to getting her way. Maneuvering her way out of numerous situations, but this time it was gonna be a little harder.

"Okay, I'm focused. The center of the target it where this is gonna go," whispered Starr as she held the small, but heavy, special gun which was used to kill the Changed.
The gun sounded, loud and clear.
"Did I hit it? Did I hit the center?" Starr asked.
Wren walked over and examined the target.
He gave out a few "hmms" and finally said,"Starr, I believe you hit the target precisely in the center."
She had to see it to believe it, so she walked up and there it was. She hadn't even used her powers for this.
"Wow, I guess I'm better than you thought," Starr cockily stated. She smiled at Wren and he smiled too. A big, goofy, smile.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go down to one of my favorite restaurants later on this afternoon."

Starr was quite surprised by this.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" she teased.

"Oh, think of it as a way to get to know a friend better."

"Deal."

Starr figured the best person to call was Lillian.
She was kinda nervous about dinner with Wren, and Lillian was used to this kind of stuff.

"Lillian?"

"Oh, hey!" She replied.

"Okay, so I'm going to dinner with Wren, what should I wear?" asked Starr.

"Don't wear a dress. Something casual, but not as casual as jeans and a t-shirt. I say, nice top, nice jeans, flats and your navy blue coat. That'll be perfect," she said, actually wanting Starr to have a good night.

"Thanks so much. You're a life saver."

She carefully picked out a pair of dark wash jeans, a sheer, peach colored top, and her gold flats.
As much as she loved her hair up, mostly because it wasn't in her face, she decided down would be best. Her phone in hand, coat around her, she stepped outside to see Wren, already waiting for her in his car.
