Skyler' s pov

I wake up in the morning to the sound of ordinary girl playing on my phone. I look around for my phone with my hands not lifting my head or opening my eyes.

I finally find it on my side table and look up to turn it off. I pull over my covers and get out of bed. I skid to my dresser and pull out some clothes. My parents went to a private school and they got a good education. So I go to 'Los Angeles Academy'. Which means I have to wear a uniform. It's not as tacky as my parents bright yellow shirts with navy blue pants/skirts. Mine are a light blue button up with a pink tie, the skirt is just a simple black skirt that is flowy and stops mid thigh.

I comb my long light brown hair and pull it up into a simple ponytail. I do a light makeup. I'm alot better than my mom every was at makeup. But I still like to do a light amount. I look myself in the mirror.  I'm not the prettiest girl but I'm not ugly. I'm about average weight with big breast and a little bit of a larger bottom half. My stomach could be flatter. While my hair is long and curly it is still a mess so I keep it up most of the time. My eyes are brown. I am the only person out of my siblings with my dad's brown eyes. I unfortunately got my mother's  height so I'm only 5'4 shortest girl in my grade. I straighten out my skirt and turn towards my door.

I open my door and start my walk down our large hall. My family is pretty well off. We aren't as good as the Kardashians but we live very comfortable. Our house is in a very nice neighborhood west of Los Angeles. It's very big and includes a hot tub, pool, game room, and gym. It has about 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with a half bath downstairs for guest. My dad is a doctor while my mom owns a dance studio with my uncle Lee.

Anyway I walk down our hall and out runs my little sisters. It looks like Alexandra who is 12 is running after Laura who is 8.

"Come back here with my bow!" She screams. Today is the first day of 7th grade for Alexandra . She is the only girl I know that has a bow for every occasion. And somehow it works with her firey red hair and crystal blue eyes.

Laura just laughs and keeps running away from her. She is really adorable. The youngest of us so she is very spoiled. Mom is always doing her hair in crazy ways. Somehow she got blessed with perfectly curled blonde hair and these emerald green eyes. Dad says she's going to break alot of hearts and he's going to have to break alot of faces.

I soon lose sight of my sister's and continue my track downstairs as i reach the bottom i can see my mother over the stove cooking. While my father is on his phone sipping a coffee as he reads what is probably the news on his phone. I walk into the kitchen to see my older brother Christopher sitting at the small breakfast table. He is my half brother. You see when my father left for college, my parents kind of went on a break. My mother dated a man named Warren. What came out of that relationship was Chris. Warren isn't around much. He lives in London now.  Only sees his sons a few times a year usually during the summer and around Christmas.

I sit now next to him as my mom sets down a plate of bacon and another of pancakes.

"I can not believe my little girl is a junior." She kisses the top of my head.

"Mom." I groan.

"Come on Skyler. She is just proud of you. You know your mother and I fell in love when she was a junior." My dad says setting his phone down on the counter. He turns around to face me.

"I know dad you have told me about a million times." I say annoyed. There love story was a cute one. When I was little I used to adore their story. But after about the fiftieth time it got annoying.

He laughs and turns around again. My mother come back into the room my sisters  followed closely behind. They sit next to me. Alexandra must have finally gotten her bow because it lays perfectly at the top of her ponytail.

I soon hear a knock at the door. My father goes and gets it. A moment later he comes back, my uncle Lee and aunt Rachael come in. Their twins  Ashley and Asher follows in. Ashley is on her phone. While Asher has a football in his hands.

"Oh. My. God. Did you know that Stormi, Kylie Jenner' s daughter, just had a baby. She named her Iceie." Ashley says very dramatically.

"What when this one grows up is she going to name her daughter  Darcy?" I laugh. She gives me a confused look. "The trix. From winx club. Show about fairies. Made in the early  2000s." She still looks confused. "Never mind." I roll my eyes.

You see Ashley and I are completely different. She is miss popular, gets every guy she wants. She has her Mom's black hair and her dad's chocolate brown eyes. She is slim up top and has a big butt. Mom and uncle Lee wanted us to be best friends but it will never happen.

Asher is nicer than his sister. He is alot geekier like his dad. He is in the gaming club with me so we are close. But not best friends. He has the same black and and brown eyes as his sister. They would be identical of they weren't different genders.

They take a seat at the island with my dad.

Uncle Lee is talking to my mom while aunt Rachael is talking to Laura.

My phone vibrates and I look to see I have a text from my best friend, Cassandra. She is outside waiting for me.

I stand up.

"I'll see you guys later." I say. I kiss my sister's heads and ruffle my brother's hair. "Bye dad. Bye mom." I kiss them both on the cheek. I hear them say bye  as i grab my purple and black backpack. I open my door and start my walk down the driveway. Cassandra parks at the end because she is horrible at backing up. So she just stays there so we can cruise right down the road without her having to back up.

I open the passanger door to her white  convertible. I climb in and set my backpack in the back seat.

"Ready for junior year?" She asks. Her blonde hair is curled. She is wearing the same outfit as me but her skirt is a little shorter than mine.

"As I'll ever be." I laugh. She puts her car in drive and we head to school. This is going to be a long year..
