Skyler is the daughter of Noah and Elle Flynn. Yes the iconic couple got married. Skyler is 16 and heading into her junior year of high school. She falls for her best friend's brother. It's her parents all over again..... Maybe.
The weeks go by fast and before I know it the gaming club is setting up for our fall festival. That is tonight.
We set things up almost exactly how my parents did. Two booths for the kissers and kisses. Then the stand with the banner where we collect the money.
Cass and I are finishing putting the banner up.
"Little to the left." She shouts. I move the banner to the left. "No. Little right." I do. "Okay up up up. Perfect." I climb down the ladder.
I take a look back and it looks a little bad. But you dont fight with cass when she gets in her moods. I look over at Blue. She nods at me, telling me she'll fix it later.
"Okay cass are you picking me up?" I ask.
"Yea. I'll be over around 7. Wear something cute. You are going to be the first person people see after all." She smiles.
I give her an annoyed smile.
She just laughs at me. "I'll see you than. I have to get to cheer practice." She gives me a hug than jogs off.
I turn around and start to gather my things.
I look up to see Mark is at football practice. And guess who's practicing with his shirt off. He notices me because he smirks and waves at me. I cross my arms and roll my eyes at him.
I grab my bag and start to look for Blue. She's my ride. I find her with Tristan Issa. They have a thing. It's a secret. Only the girls in gaming club know about it. As far as I know.
"Can y'all unstick please so I can get home?" I ask.
Blue gives me a death stare than starts laughing. She says goodbye to Tristan. We head to her car. I get in the passenger seat.
"You really need to get your license." She says as we pull out of the school drive way.
"I know. Just need some more practice." I laugh.
"I'm sure you're great."
"You haven't seen me drive." I laugh.
She giggles and turns on the radio. A new song by Baby Ariel comes on. I look out the window until we pull up to our drive. I thank her for the ride and go inside.
No one is home. I go up to my room and decide to take a little nap since I know we will be up late tonight.

I wake up to someone jumping on my stomach. I open my eyes to see my sisters.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"Um 5 why?" Laura asks.
"I need to get ready." I hop on my feet and go get ready. I dont have time to do my hair so I just stick it in a messy bun.
I go to my dresser and pick out an outfit. A white off the shoulder top over a baby pink lace bralette, some shorts and brown sandals. I put a necklace and bracelet on.
I get the text that Cass is here. I grab a mini backpack and run downstairs.

"Be home later. Love y'all." I call to everyone. I open the door and run to Cass' car. I open the door and get in. We pull out of the driveway.
"You look so cute." Cass gushes over my outfit.
"So do you." I laugh. She's wearing a black lace tank crop top, with a dark green sweater, with a jean skirt and black flats. She has on a choker.

We pull up to the festival. We are early because we have to finish setting up. I get out of the car and we start our walk to our booth.
Everyone is already there. I get to my spot and before I know it people are coming up. We have a long line really quickly. People are actually getting back in line. No sign of Mark yet. He must have stood me up.
After about an hour people start having to leave and go to other booths.
I'm left on my own. Everyone in line starts to leave too. Jackson Barber comes up to me. "Are you doing the booth?" He asks.
"Um. No just collecting money." I stutter. Jackson Barber is one of the hottest guys in my grade and the school.
"Hmm to bad. I'd pay extra." He smirks.
I hear something behind me I turn around to see Cass. "Of course she's gonna do the booth."
"Alright than." He gets back in line.
Cass pulls me up to the booth. Just like my mom's booth we have to be blind folded so we don't know who we are kissing.
"Cass I'm going to kill you." I whisper.
"You'll thank me I promise. Now i have to get to the cheer booth. Love you." She says.
I groan but put on my blind fold. I can feel a hand.
"Hi." I say. "Um so what happens now? I've never done anything like this. I mean I've kissed someone before but not a total stranger and...." I'm cut off by the person kissing me. I kiss back. This kiss is familiar. I break apart and take off my blindfold. I gasp at who it is. Mark.
I run off the stage. I can hear everyone ohhing as I push past people to go who knows where. I finally get to end of the festival and to the streets. I live about 10 miles but I don't care.
A car pulls up next to me. Its Mark.
"Get in the car Sky." I keep walking. "Skyler get in the damn car." I just keep walking. He pulls up and pulls the car in front of me to where I almost hit it. I finally look at him. "Just please get in the car." I can see the remorse in his eyes. I sigh and get in the car. He puts it in park again and we start out drive home.
Except we aren't going the way home. At least not to either of our houses.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
He just smirks and keeps driving.
