Chap.2

Rose's POV

The limo arrived directly at the stairs of the Smith's castle. The chauffeur got out the vehicle and opened door for us. Each of us individually thanked him as we got out and then we see some butlers coming out the front door and helping us up the stairs. We entered the castle and it brought me flash backs of the day I met James. It made me very uncomfortable to be here.

I want to get out.
Now.

The butlers took us to where the ball was and when we got to the doors that'll lead us to my death, two knights in shining armor opened the doors for us. There was already many people here already, drinking, talking. They don't know what's coming. James's parents and my parents both agreed to keep the engagement private until the wedding was close. So no one here except us and the people who help around the castle know what's going to happen at the end of the night.

"It's time," Isaac said as he got into his suit.

"Remember guys, don't act suspicious," Carlos warned us.

"Yeah, lets not end up like what Jackie did last time," Mia points out to Jackie behind her, getting inside the car.

"Hey!" Jackie pops her head out the car.

"There's no time to waste. Get in the car and let's sneak into the party, accomplish the mission and then we can make fun of each other after," Isaac demanded. We all nodded and hurried inside the car and took off.

Issac, which is the leader as you can tell, didn't want everyone of the gang to go. It would be suspicious that all of us are in a party and then we all leave at the same time. Yes we can get out at different times but just to be safe, only the five of us will go.

Isaac drove to the castle in the car that we stole last week for this mission. We needed a nice car to not get noticed. Also they won't let us enter if we had a ride like that. We needed to look prestige and official.

I can see the castle from the window getting bigger and bigger. Isaac pulled up in front of the castle and two butlers came out and walked down the stairs towards us.

"Everyone get out the car," Isaac told us. We did as we said and unbuckled ourselves and got out the car.

"You, park my car please. We're missing out right now," Isaac told the guys and gave one of them the keys. They nodded and hurried inside the car and took off. We entered the castle and Isaac made us huddle behind one of the huge poles.

"Okay, Mia and Carlos. Go find the jewelry as we said. Jackie, Julian, and I will be at the party to steal the jewelry people have on," Isaac informed us. We nodded and split our ways.

"I wonder who I will see there," Jackie smirks.

"Calm down, it's not like you're going to marry them or anything," I laughed.

"It's actually a good tactic. Seduce them and before the realize it, they're priceless things are gone. And they won't suspect you because you're a nobody," Isaac joined in with a smirk.

"I don't know and I suppose to be happy I can get my slut on for once or mad at you for saying that," Jackie said. Isaac and I laughed and Jackie glared at us.

"Wait," I stopped walking. They both stopped and turned to look at me with puzzling looks on their faces.

"What Julian?" Isaac asks with a bit of annoyance on his face.

"Where is the whole thing at If we've never been here before?" I ask.

"Well, lets listen to the music. Maybe we can find it," Isaac shrugged his shoulder.

"Yeah like we can hear the classical music all loud and clear," I said. Jackie started to laugh and Isaac lightly slapped her shoulder, immediately making her laugh more.

"Shut up, we need to be formal in case anyone is hearing us. We don't want your horse like laugh," Isaac glared.

"Sorry," she tried to hold in her laughs, but she looks like she can break anytime.

"Let's just find it. Maybe where most of the workers are at, since they got to attend the people with finger foods and champagne, right?" Isaac asks. I shrugged as an answer.

We started to walk and find the ball room. Then we see a man with a white buttoned down and a black vest get out of a hallway. We walked faster to where he left and we found the two doors that lead to where we are suppose to be. Two knights saw us and opened the doors. I was afraid they wouldn't let us in since I don't think we look anything like those people inside. But somehow we got in.

Many people where talking, sipping on some champagne. Lots of butlers attended the guests with finger foods and alcohol.

"Okay let's split up," Isaac told us. We nodded and went away from those two. I didn't know anyone so it was awkward for me to walk pass people. Stupid Julian, why would I know these people if they're all rich and royalty. They wouldn't know a criminal like unless I was in the newspaper. But I wasn't so...

My mind went to a different universe then I bumped into someone. I heard an 'oof' and I looked at who it was. Nice, I just bumped into a woman.

"What's where your going," the lady said. I apologized and went away from her. I needed to find someone to distract to get their jewelry fast. Then I found my first culprit, or culprits. A girl my age, maybe a bit younger, was talking to two guys who looked older than her. I went towards them.

Okay Julian, ask her to dance like the stereotypical prince will do and do my job here. Then maybe get the guys stuff too if they have anything.

When I was behind one of the two guys, the girl looked at me. I guess the two caught her eye and looked at the direction where she was looking at.

"Ummm, yes?" The oldest of the bunch asks.

"May I take the young lady to a dance," I said in a formal manner, hopefully to convince them I'm one of them. They looked at each either and the girl nodded. I gave my hand towards her and she took it.
