The next day I wake up at a perfect time; 7:30am. I had a feeling that today would be a good day. I put some make up on & since I am feeling so great I have decided to do a winged eye liner for my make up. It was fun to do. After that I picked up my school bag where it had been thrown in a corner from yesterday & I walked downstairs. I was greeted by a very tired mother who was still able to make me chocolate chip pancakes with bacon for the two of us. I thanked her & ate some. I didn't want to ruin the day by being late with pancakes & bacon. I thanked my mom yet again for breakfast & headed outside. As I walked I looked down at my outfit. Im so happy we dont have uniforms. I was wearing a turquoise crop top, with high waisted shorts & a pair of vans. I kept walking until I bumped into Jason while on the way to school. We both had the same destination & decided to walk together.

"Hi" I said awkwardly & a little shaky.

"Hey" he said carefree as if we hadn't dated around a year ago.

"What was all that about not going to the café? It wouldn't mean a anything; just as friends" I say, regretting every word the second after I say it. I think I have to much gutts.

"Oh well, I have a girlfriend; shes a niner. Yes I know we are finishing up grade 10 & yet to be in grade 11 but im really connecting with her & I dont wanna mess it up."

Oh just like you messed it up with me? I keep quiet & finally peep out the words "Oh thats nice."

"Although we could study sometime. Maybe just not in public. I wouldnt want her to find out; she takes things to heart" he says after 3 awkward minutes of silence.

"That would be great" I said. We arrived at school & split up. Him going off to his usual friends & me up to Aleah.

"Were you actually just speaking with your ex?!" She sternly yet quietly says to me.

"Yes haha I was, we were just catching up a little. I found out he had a girlfriend." I say.

"Oh & that doesn't bother you?" Aleah says in a motherly voice,

"Pshttt no." I say. Followed by the 'your-such-a-lyer' look from Aleah.

We walked off to class & took our seats. It was friday & I really wasn't into 'learning'. Thank goodness its only art. I doodled a little until a little note got passed to me from the right side of the class room. Right where Jason was sitting... I slowly opening the note & started to read it....
