Chapter 4

"Chris really. I'm tired..." I say drifting off to sleep.

"Please baby. Just one round"
He ask kissing my shoulder.

"No. Go to sleep."

"Baby. It'll be worth it"

He starts to pull down shorts.

"Chris the fuck off of m-"

I quickly jump up out of my sleep. Out of breath. I look around the room to find that I'm safe and sound at my own house. In my own bed.

"Fuck" I whisper to myself running my finger through my hair.

I go to the bathroom and look In the mirror.

There was a silence

"You fucking whore" I say staring into my own eyes in the mirror

I pick a bottle of lotion.

"You dirty slut!" I yell chucking the bottle at the mirror. Watching the cracks grow bigger and bigger the longer I stare at it

"It was your fucking fault you nasty ass bitch!" I yell staring at myself into the cracked glass. That's when I just collapse on the floor and burst into tears.

"Nina?!" My mom says as she rushes up the stairs.

She opens the bathroom door and sees me on the ground in tears dropping immediately to the ground grabbing me up into a hug as I cry my eyes out.

"Its okay sweetie" she tells me rocking back and forth.

"Mom. It's all my fault" I say through choked tears.

"Nina don't you ever say that. You knew it was-"

"But it was!" I say rasing my voice lifting off of her

"Nina please. Just calm down" my mom says creasing my arm with one hand and wiping my tears with the other.

She stands me up and I look into the sink.

I look at the different sizes of the cracked glass that just layed there doing nothing.

Helpless.

Broken.

I slowly lift my head up and see the shattered mirror in front of me. I jump as I see the damage I created.

My mom gently pushes me out the bathroom leading me back onto my room.

"Just lay down. Calm down" she tells me as I lay down in the bed.

I start to pull the covers over me when I flinch at an instant pain in my left leg. I remove the cover and spot a piece of glass stuck in my leg.

"Shit"

I gently try to pull it out. Only making the pain worse.

Blood starts peek through the surface of my skin.

"Mom!" I yell out.

She comes rushing out from down stairs.

I look down at my leg. As she goes to get the first aid kit.

She was a doctor so she knew what she was doing.

She comes back with gloves on and begin to work on my leg.

"This is gonna hurt" she warns me.

She take out a pair of cleaned tweezers and began to squeeze at the part where the glass was.
