Next day, as per the request Swara had been standing at Ragini's place talking to her about her today's plan.
"Come on Ragini, it's you only who asks me to socialize and when I want you to come you don't. Huh?!"
"Swara don't you think you are very bad at acting? Tell me quick what's cooking? I have work to complete and I m sure you are having to. "
"But can't you spare sometime for me please? Just for today, please? I need to go to a salon, and you know how often I go there, please I need your help Ragini please?"
"What the hell? The Swara Bose is so desperate to go to a salon and is pleading so much? Are you ok right! You're our Swara only na?" Ragini shook her.
"Ofcourse I m but you're not my Ragini. Huh! I thought to spend a day with you and you look at yourself. I shouldn't have come to you only." Swara pouted.
"Where's your Sanskar? From past two months you've been hanging around with him. Why don't you take him?"
"That idiot! Are you coming or not? Our friendship is at stake and you are not interested. How could you?"
"Okay, drama queen I'll come. Let me change and come." Ragini laughed at her and went.

It's evening
"We should be going home. It's already late and we've wasted whole day in that salon and mall."
"Ok" Swara nodded in agreement "but my place, we'll try on these dresses and I'll drop you to your folks followed by my office."
"I m tired dude! Not now. I need to drop home. Please"
"Just freshen up at my place and then we'll go only na"
"Swara I know you guys are planning something and you can't hide it from me. Come now tell me quick."
"You get ready in that dress, we'll go your place soon. I promise I'll take you. It's one last request for the day." Swara pouted and made puppy eyes with that Ragini also agreed. *** After all the dressing up they reached where the surprise was. The house was decorated with lights, and it actually looked like broad daylight.
Ragini was very nervous yet jumping in excitement. Swara pushed open the door to see the darkness inside, what a view she thought, outside it's looking like a day and here inside was darkness but that's what surprises are about.
And here came the screams "surprise!" Along with the lights. The house was decorated with pink ballons all over. It was her favourite colour. Gifts lined up which were taller than their heights. Indeed they had got the girl's smile.
The birthday party had begun with the wishes and the guests have made their way wishing Ragini. Swara excused herself and stood at a side.
Her eyes were looking around for a person she had made a make over for and not only that, he hadn't shown his face since the last nights encounter. She was worried about him at the same time, when she heard a sweet voice and familiar tap on her shoulder.
"Looks like someone's got a make over huh?! Looking gorgeous than the birthday girl."
