Part 21

After feeling relieved by her thoughts and opening up to Sanskar, Swara felt some inner peace. She thought at least he's there for her as a friend. Thinking about all that she slept.

It was late afternoon and Swara woke up after sleeping peacefully. She freshen up and changed her clothes and was going to the study but remembered Sanskar asking not to work so she took the stairs to the hall.

Here when she reached down the landline rang, Swara picked up since the only people calling on her landline number were the security. She spoke to them for sometime and looked around for her phone and on getting it sat on the couch.

In few seconds she saw Ragini entering the hall. Swara smiled at her and continued watching TV. Ragini sat beside her opening some snacks.

"So what made the Swara Bose to watch TV on a weekday and taking an off?" Ragini asked her passing the snack.

"You tell me what made you come on a weekday to visit me here?" Swara snapped.

"Umm it's just I came to know about the happenings of the two weeks so thought to check on you. I wasn't here for weeks and so couldn't make it to you, so I went to your office only to find out that you weren't there and Zoya had no idea where you were. So she decided to call at new complex to find out if you were there but no luck." She sighed and continued "and of course I called Sanskar finally, and he was like you're here. So here I am."

"Okay, so what you want to do? I mean you know how bad I'm with all this staying at home and chilling stuff and since I've discussed with sanskar whatever happened so I don't want to do it all over again" Swara asked grabbing the snack.

"Well you weren't bad at this, I remember our sleep overs and you would be the one coming out with new things to play" Ragini spoke switching the channels.

"We aren't kids now Ragini to play. That was all when you and I were immature." Swara rolled her eyes.

"Yes but we would have fun unlike now sitting on the couch switching channels and doing nothing. We don't even have some hot boys in our life to discuss about them." She said and Swara chuckled at the thought.

They got up and Swara brought a box from the study and placed it on the table.

"Okay let's do this" Ragini said opening the box and taking out all the bits and pieces and sitting.

After an hour or so they finished assembling the 300 pieces together. The image displayed brought a smile that faces, yes it was the 300 piece puzzle pieces of an huge waterfall.

"Huh! Done with this too, now what next?" Swara asked.

"So where's Sanskar? I mean I thought you were together or he would be here."

"Ohh no, actually his mom is in town so I told him to take a day off to go and spend some time with his mom" Swara cleared.

"Oh, so wouldn't you tell me what's going on with you and him? I mean are you two... In a relationship or what?" Ragini asked settling besides Swara nudging her.

"He said we're best friends" she said turning to her ringing phone and looking at the caller ID and putting it on silent.

"And you? What you think? Since you're saying he is said you're best friends..."

Swara was about to answer but saw her phone ringing again "I think I need to pick up this one, please excuse me" she picked up the call was speaking and suddenly she screamed "whaaaaat??!!!" Ragini looked at her with shock and went near her.
