"Alright $115.57 is your total." I said to the customer. I'm so tired and i still have a few hours until i get off.
"Aries, we slow today. You can go." My boss told me. I smiled and went into the back. When I get home I'm taking my ass to sleep.

Just as I was dozing off my phone started ringing. I sighed loudly and picked it up. It was my brother.
"Hello?" I answered after going trough the phone process.
"Wassup babygirl?" he was in a good mood.
"Nothing, how you feeling?"
"Great, Raphael and Rizzy came to visit me a few days ago and she told me she pregnant."
"Oh really? They didn't tell me they were going."
"I can't believe I'm gonna be a dad."
"Me either. I remember you never wanted kids."
"Me too but I'm actually excited. So you wanna be Auntie or God-mom?"
"God mom." I smiled
"I thought the same."
"I saw Raphael yesterday at work. He looked miserable and sick. He would barely talk to me. You know what's going on?" I asked
"Ummm nah i don't. I need to call him-"
"Wait! This is my time and were gonna talk."
"Alright what you wanna talk about?"
"They say anything about when you getting out?" I asked.
"Not yet." Was all he said. We don't go in depth about the case over the phone because they listen.
"That sucks. Did mom or dad put some money on your books?"
"Aries I haven't talked to them deadbeats since I got here. Have you?"
"Not since I got put out. I'll call them after I'm off the phone with you. I may just have to do it myself."
"Alright fasho. You do that. So what's new?"
"I work at foot locker and I start college in a month."
"That's good. Look Aries I need you to come see me ASAP. We need to talk in person."
"Alright I'll come on the weekend, why wassup?"
"You know they record these calls. That's creepy as fuck." he laughed.

"I miss you too but look imma be out sooner than you think, trust me babygirl. Try to get in contact with mom alright?"
"Yeah I will."
"Okay and Aries...talk to Raphael alright. Like talk face to face with him when you get the chance. Use that puppy dog face you used to use on me and him when we were 12 if he doesn't talk."
"Alright." I laughed.
"Imma talk to you later. Visit me little girl!"
"Okay, I will."
"Alright bye I love you."
"Love you too." I hung up the phone and proceeded to call my parents. My mom picked up on the last ring.
