Unique Predebut Teams @ Ikigai! by geunawarawara
Recently, Ikigai have been busy, coddling their new predebut teams! Currently, they have two, that both have two sub-units each!
The male predebut team is called 'Us&We', the sub-units being named 'WILL' and 'ARTHUR' respectively.
According to the leaders of these sub-units [ who are also trainees ], team 'WILL' promises a strong yet energetic concept [ c. team leader Wonyang ], while team 'ARTHUR', on the other hand, promises a mature and fancy concept [ c. team leader Taeyong ]. All in all, the concept of Us&We is pretty simple, according to overall leader, Taeyong. The concept of Us&We is 'while you are with us, we will never let you go alone'. Pretty poetic from these bunch, huh?
The female predebut team, on the other hand, is called 'U&I', with sub-units 'CARAH' and 'DIANE'.
As with the male predebut team, the team leaders explained their respective concepts! Team 'DIANE', according to team leader Jaehwa, promises a very cutesy and happy concept, befitting the team's age range. Team 'CARAH', however, promises a strong and more teenager-esque / adult-esque concept compared to the other team's concept, which earned some complaints from them; this was according to team leader Hyeri. Overall leader, also Hyeri, says that U&I's concept is 'you will be safe here, with I'.
The two teams have recently been doing some suspicious things as of late, team Us&We having released a song with both team WILL and team ARTHUR, and team U&I releasing a song with both team DIANE and team CARAH! Both teams had appeared on shows to promote their company!

And that's right folks! Trainee An Chia-jung is actually a girl! She just has a very masculine appearance, and even when she still lived in Taiwan, she was called 'handsome' by even men and women! What a surprise!
After each team's performances, Ikigai suddenly had a lot of stans, and IKIGAI CITY was almost like the new Lotte World, if not, better and has more stuff in it! Many people make reservations at UKIYO; most of the time, Cafe Momotarō's famous peach products are always out of stock; M.N.A. has been well in demand and will possibly have a fashion show once CEO Nakano Ren comes back from his hiatus; the Ichiba Market became the go-to place for anyone's everyday needs; Komorebi Park became the place to hang out for young people; BE-U-TEA is almost always full and their milk tea is amazing, and more stuff has been happening to IKIGAI CITY!
Hopefully, Ikigai will flourish more and become one of the big three!
