Pride Month 2018 Special: Having a Crush on Nia Jax Would Play Out Like

- Nia was a beautiful woman and she was taller than you, so you got to look up and see her brown eyes gleaming from the lights and you'd melt on the inside. On the outside however, you'd play it cool because you were only cordial with the Raw Women's Champion and that was about it.

- You'd watch Nia's promos and matches and internally takes notes on her performance, wanting to give her pointers and both ask her questions. This however would only happen if you'd get some guts and tell her hello. It's really difficult though because once Nia smiles and you see her dimples, you freeze in place.

- Nia finds you to be cute but you think of it as in a kid kind of way because she sometimes pinches your cheeks. Your interactions with her are always short because she's either filming for Total Divas or hanging with the other women that actually had the privilege to be friends with her.

- It takes for some fans joking about your behavior while watching Total Divas for you to notice how obvious you are around her. Red flags were set in your head because "WHY ARE THEY TWEETING NIA ABOUT IT?!"

- Nia, however is oblivious to the signs (and memes) that point to you actually being interested in her. You know the reason she's oblivious is because of two reasons: she's not gay, and she's insecure about her appearance due to her weight size.

- You switch your approach and stop thinking like a useless lesbian and you commit relationship-suicide by trying as a friend.

- Nia is a little relieved seeing you so friendly around her and chalks up the Total Divas banter as you being nervous to speak to her since you were new to the main roster. You two hit off almost immediately and become friends.

- When Lexi (Alexa Bliss) isn't available, Nia talks to you. The more you two talk and get to know each other, the more you kick yourself because there's so much more to Nia than just her looks and charm and you find yourself falling hard for the woman.

- You adore her hugs. You just love them so much. She embraces you with everything she has and will occasionally kiss the crown of your head which makes you giddy on the inside. Sometimes a giggle slips from you and it makes Nia laugh.

- Eventually, your feelings became too much to handle internally. Your actions start to reflect your hidden thoughts and because you were so comfortable with Nia, you'd interlock your fingers with hers or hold her hand during meetings. You'd sometimes get on your tiptoes to kiss her on the cheek (right on the dimple) or kiss her hand. It was then when Nia started thinking things over with you.

- Nia started putting the pieces together after you drunk babbled about how you had a crush on her at first. She thought back at the time and looked back at the Total Divas footage to finally see what the fans were seeing. Nia made a self-deprecating joke being glad that your eyes were opened to see someone better than her.

- You kissed her when she said that. You full on kissed her and her lips were the softest things on this planet, that you were sure of. You made a speech and love confession at the same that lasted about a good fifteen minutes (you listed everything you loved about Nia and the woman was shocked to say the least) before you passed out. You definitely remembered the next morning (the memories returned with a jarring headache.)

- It was now or never, you could pretend you didn't remember and remain friends with the awkward knowledge that she knows you're still in love with her, or lay your cards on the table.

- You told Nia you remembered everything and still meant it, that you still loved her. Nia was flattered and still a bit staggered that all this while you'd been harboring a lesbian crush on her. You teased her saying that you made it pretty obvious at the beginning.

- Nia told you what you expected to hear, which was that she was flattered but also straight. You knew that anyway and took it in stride. However; what she said next was different.

- "I've never been in a lesbian relationship before, I've never even been with a woman before, but.... I don't know. This friendship made me... want to try? But only with you! I felt different with you?" And if you didn't know gay panic when you saw it.

- "I'm not pressuring you or anything, Nia. Whatever you want."

- "Okay. Can we go slow then? I don't really know what I'm supposed to do."

- "Of course we can. Just continue to be yourself, it's how I fell in love with you anyways."

- Nia had the prettiest blush, "Shut up."
