When Leah opens her eyes again the lights are entirely too bright. Thankful that she could hear while she was under, she knows exactly where she is and why it's imperative to remain in a "coma". She needed time to get the hell out of here and away from those fucking psychos. Her body was weak and she was really hungry, the liquid meals could only hold her over for so long and now that she was awake, she could tear down a Chipotle.

One thing at a time, and the first imperative thing to tackle was moving again. She doesn't know how long it's been but she knew there would be some difficulties in getting back into full function again. Especially in secret. So Leah started with a simple task: wiggling her fingers. It took a few seconds but she was able to get them to move and the more she practiced, the more fluid the movement became. It was ten minutes later that her fingers and hands were moving again and she decided to stop and wait for noise.

No one was there.

She tried moving her toes this time. Those were a bit harder to do, she wiggled and got used to the foreign feeling in her thighs before moving her feet gently. Then rotating her ankles around. She knew it was going to be hard trying to walk in secret, especially when she didn't know how long she'd been under. Sometimes the voices would fade in and out. Pretty soon her hands and feet were functional again and that was enough for the time being. She closed her eyes when she heard footsteps in the hallway.

"I must say, it's always a pleasure to see you. Although I would love a response every now and then." Leah internally rolled her eyes. "I've been consulting with some top medical experts and they said they were working on something to speed up brain activity. A way to wake you up faster." Carmella could hear her pulse monitor increase and tried to will it down to a calmer state. "You must be excited, ready to wake up and see me again. I'm excited to see you again too." It was a true task getting her breathing under control until they left again. When the door closed, her eyes shot open again.

Asshole.

With AJ just reigning victorious from a title rivalry against Natalya, she had a small bit of reprieve until her new one kicked up against Asuka. She was extremely excited about it, it was her first time going against a "stiff" wrestler and Asuka was athletic as well as cunning, a similarity they shared. Until then she got the chance to fly back home and decided to spend her time with Nicole. Things have been different and she knows it- she wishes she could turn back time but that was everyone's wish in the end.

April placed the grocery bags in one hand as she used the other one to ring the doorbell. It didn't take even three minutes until Nicole let her in with a smile on her face.

"Hey you," Nikki grabbed some bags and let AJ in, kissing her forehead before taking off and sliding into the kitchen. "I missed you!" She raised her voice due to the distance now put between them and April laughed at how cute she was.

"I missed you too, way too much." AJ made it to the kitchen and placed her own bags down before grabbing Nicole's waist. Nikki waggled her eyebrows before licking AJ's cheek and giggling at the startled reaction she was given. "Are you drunk, woman?"

"Nope," Nikki popped the p, "I'm really happy to see you again. And you have a nice face." She wiggles her eyebrows some more. April rolled her eyes in good nature before she actually kissed Nicole on the lips, taking note of the absence of alcohol on her tongue. Nicole held April tighter against her and kissed her a little harder, a kiss that explained her next course of action. And don't get it wrong, April was totally down for make-up sex, they haven't had that yet but she did want to truly clear the air about the Carmella mess.

"Baby, I would love to just-"

"I could take you right here on this counter."

Oh my.
