Once the nomads left, Edward was instructed to leave with Bella, while the rest of the Cullens collected all the gear and sped home.
Edward was taking Bella home to make it seem like she wanted to go back to Phoenix. Him being the paranoid his is, he asked some of his family-Alice, Emmett, and Evelyn-to be near by, just in case.
Evelyn sat in the passanger seat of Alice's car with Emmett standing outside waiting for Edward. They parked a few yards away from the Swan residence, not wanting to look suspicion.
When Edward did show up, he sped to Evelyns side of the car, pulled her out and pushed her against the car. "Why didn't you stop him!? Huh? Why didn't you make him forget she was there!?"
His fury was suffocating to Evelyn, especially with how close he was to her. She pushed him away with enough strength to get distance. "You should be glad I didn't! He had already seen her, if I made him forget, it would have remembered eventually and he would have the element of surprise. So be glad that you at least know what he's going to do!"
Edward was still frustrated, but he heard Bella's truck start, so sped in her direction, followed by Emmett.
Evelyn let out a huff of irritation, and got back in the car. Alice gave her a small smile to ease her tenseness. Then they were following the orange truck home.

All the Cullens gathered in the garage. Trying to come up with a plan to deal with what's just happened.
Emmetts head was immediately going with killing them instantly. While Jasper and Evelyn were trying to reason with him.
"We've had to fight our kind before." Jasper was walking backwards in front of Emmett, while Evelyn was walking behind them. "They're not easy to kill," Jasper said.
Emmett, being hard-headed, replied, "But not impossible."
Evelyn continued walking towards Alice to help put stuff in the car.
Edward then walked in with his arm around Bella and said, "We'll tear them apart and burn the pieces."
But Carlisle being the gentle man he is, disagreed, "I don't relish the thought of killing another creature, even a sadistic one like James."
Rosalie asks a question which gets ignored, so Edwards speaks, "I'm gonna run Bella south. Can you lead the tracker away from here?"
