(Your P.O.V.)
I'm already eight months into the pregnancy, I'm starting to miss the taste of Smirnoff. Tom has been taking care of me ever sense Tord left. The last thing Tord said to me was, 'Jeg kan ikke sta deg!' (Norwegian for I can't stand you) What a jerk! He didn't even stay long enough for his own son's birth.
"Hey, (Y/N)," Tom said, walking into my room. Nearly knocking a lamp over with his tail. "Can I get you anything? Water? Anything?"
"Some sweet tea would be nice," I respond.
"Okay. I'll be right back."
Tom leaves the room. I hear his foot steps as he goes down the stairs and into the kitchen. I grab my phone. No messages. I set it down. It rings. I pick it up and see what the notification is for. Tord messaged me. I read it.
"Do you want to know why I left you?"-Tord
I respond.
"Why?"-(Y/N)
"Because you cheated on me."-Tord
"Oh yeah? With who?"-(Y/N)
"Tom"-Tord
"No I didn't!"-(Y/N)
"I bet you the baby isn't even mine!"-Tord
"ASSHOLE!!!!"-(Y/N)
I send the last thing I texted and then throwing it at the wall, breaking the phone.
"(Y/N)? Are you okay?" Tom said, walking into the room with my sweet tea.
"Yeah everything is just peachy," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Tell me what's bothering you," Tom said, handing me my tea.
"Tord."
"That asshole. What did he do to upset you?"
"He said I cheated on him and that's why he left me."
"Cheated on him? With who?"
"You."
"Me?"
"Yeah. I guess this is what I get for being with a demon."
"It's okay, (Y/N). He didn't even deserve you. Your a beautiful, smart, and strong women."
"Thanks, Tom."
"Anytime."
I hug him. When I pull away I drink my tea and decide to take a nap.
~time skip~
I slowly open my eyes. I see Tom's hair, ears, and horns in front of me. I gently play with his hair and ears. One of his ears twitches and he wakes up. He looks at me.
"(Y/N)," he says, with a tired voice but still smiles at me.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Well, after you fell asleep, Tord showed up. He said he needed to see you, but I told him he couldn't. He said he'll find a way to get to you, so I came up here to protect you."
"Thank you for looking out for me."
"No problem."
I gently kiss Tom. I pull away.
"Love you," I said.
"I- I think your still sleepy," Tom said.
I shook my head.
He then kissed me and then he pulls away.
" I love you, too. And if you want, when you have the child, I'll raise him with you. Like he's my own," Tom said.
"I'd like that," I smiled.
