A new kind of breed

     I started thinking of why this evening was so important to Amara, but I completely forgot that she was once in love with Henrik , Maybe she just wants to see him again,

"hey Amara you ready?' I asked as we all lined up ready to leave.

She looked stunning,

"Amara you look beautiful" I said dropping my jaw at her updo and dress.

"not like you!" she said. I looked down, I did look pretty good, with my dark blue dress , my jewelry.

   "oh my god this house is insane" Shalyah said as we walked between the huge white columns.

"Who the hell are you?" the handsome guard barked at us.

"is that the way to greet an old friend Joel?" Amara said,after which he pulled her into a hug.

"god lord Amara I haven't seen you since when?"

"the plague" She said which made the rest of us laugh.

"Alright guys let's split up and take care of business,Nathan,Cali and Aaron go talk to Marcus, Anya go talk to Rose, Amara talk to Henrik and me and Shalyah will talk to Hernia,Now let's go"

  

   Me and Shalyah made our way over to Hernia who was across the room talking to Marcus who walked away when he saw us coming and mumbled something to Hernia,who I have to admit was stunningly beautiful.

"Ahh Juliet and Shalyah I take it,I see you got my gifts ,you both look lovely" She said flipping her Long blonde hair.

" cut the crap,Hernia, why are you doing this?" I said as anger boiled inside me.

"wow, you are exactly what I thought you'd be" she snickered, "loud ,bold ,self righteous, and arrogant to the core, like my pathetic parents" she continued " but you Shalyah , your clever, tough,unpredictable, you remind me of myself when i was your age" she smiled nastily.

"I like the compliment but I'm nothing like you, Hernia"

"hmm your friend, JR reminds me of my brother,Henrik , loyal,caring,valiant, and annoying, Clay is the worst he's a mini version of my father, makes me wanna put my head in a noose and jump, Nathan is just plain annoying, and Anya, well shes bright and strong but naïve, I know shes gonna be powerful witch me and my mother could sense her from a mile away"

"why haven't you answered my question? ,why are you doing this?" I yelled.

" revenge"

     Nathan POV

   "I'm so ready to kick his ass" I said trotting through the crowd with Cali and Aaron toward Marcus.

"I'm with ya, no one kills off my friend and gets away with it" Aaron whooped which made people stare but didn't care my ego was full caliber,

"no hey wait guys wait up, just think this through OK, he's older, stronger , probably taller" Cali piped from behind Aaron,

"one super ancient vampire against three young hybrids I'm mean were pretty awesome"

"um what do you mean by three half breeds? and besides its three of us against like what?, like twenty of them?"

"hey babe, its okay we have it all worked out and don't worry about me I'll be fine" Aaron said softly holding Cali's waist.

" I'm not leaving you" she said and kept walking.

" hey Marcus right?" I said walking up to him.

"hmm you must be Nathan ,your much taller from a distance" he look laughed.

"we need to talk, alone" I said looking up at him, Cali was right he is taller.

"alright then follow me " he lead us up a winding staircase and stopped at the top.

"what is it you'd like talk about mate?"

"first of all ,you know, second of all I'm not your mate"

"hmm I was thinking which of your friends should I kill first, JR, Clay, oh I know, Anya!"

I didn't think at all, I just punched him in the face, but after I did that he didn't go for me he went for Aaron and snapped his neck then took a butter knife and stabbed Cali in the neck , I was glad it wouldn't killed them but feared for my safety so I took a  chair leg and plunged it into his leg, but that didn't stop him, he pulled it right out and lunged at me but I dodged him, soon enough we were following down the stairs and all was about to break loose.

      Amaras POV

My heart raced when I layed eyes on Rose for the first time in 500 years she looked as beautiful as ever, Henrik had her round green eyes and Hernia had her blonde hair.

"Rose!" I called out tearing up.

"Amara is that really you?" I ran across the floor and pulled her into a huge hug.

"I can't believe you came!" she said with a smile plastered on her face.

" I wanted to see you and Henrik" I said.

"well Henrik's upstairs" She said.

"bye" I raced up the stairs and saw Marcus talking to Nathan the other two, then I walked into the first room I saw, Henrik was standing by the window.

"Amara, I knew you'd come" he said.

" I wouldn't miss this for the world " I said.

"sit down, we have a lot to talk about" he said smiling.

"like what?" I asked.

" me, Rose,Joel and a few others, think Hernia and Marcus have gone too far with their plan, and we want to help you break out your friends and the other wolves"

"Henrik, how? Hernia has her powers and you know how old Marcus is! and what about the other vampires who are still loyal to them?, they're just as strong as us" I said "they might even hear us right now!"

"they can't ,mother put a spell on this room so no one could hear us,after the party I'll meet you and your friends  behind the the courthouse and tell them about everything." he exclaimed.

"okay, I trust you"

   Anya's POV

    Honestly I don't know if I'm nervous or if I'm about to pass out, my nose started bleeding earlier and now my hands are heating up, is that a coencidence or will I have another problem like the other night, Okay stop messing around and go talk to Rose, man she didn't tell me where she'd be.

I know I can sense her!

I closed my eyes and thought of Rose, and I felt myself being drawn to the third door to the left

     " Hello Anya " Rose said still turned around.

"I knew you'd figure out what I wanted you to do, we have to talk"

"what is it?" I asked.

" me and Henrik are trying to stop Hernia but we can't and we need your help"

CRASSSH

Suddenly we heard a large noise from downstairs mixed with muffled yelling.

" hey don't touch him" in said running down the stairs and onto the ballroom floor, Nathan and some vampire were fighting, oh no, the vampire had him pinned down and the broken leg of a chair ready to kill him

"stop now!" I said as soon as that happens the vampire burst into flames,the man tumbled to the floor rolling around and screaming , but nobody helped him, they just backed up, but not a really pretty blonde girl who looked about 20 who ran up screaming and crying.

"Did I just do that?" I asked, Rose who watched in horror,

"yes I think you did" She began "you've found your element, fire"
