Walking back to the reception desk with a docile Amethyst had calmed him down. AJ caught himself before he shoved Amethyst on the wooden front desk violently. He let go of her and she leaned against it, resting her cheek on her right fist.

It was deserted aside from the receptionist and Savannah, who had watched the scene quietly from afar. She didn't know the man, that Alberto or something. Amethyst had looked so happy seeing him. She had jumped in his arms. Her sister wasn't like that; jumping in the arms of a man with genuine interest was out of character for her. Savannah's heartbeat increased as she grew nervous. Was her sister sick?

"Don't tell anyone we're here," Amethyst said, looking bored. She kept looking behind her, looking for Roberto, but the guard that had brought them to the hotel had placed himself specifically to avoid any eye contact. AJ was still thorough, even after two years of absence in her life.

"I know." Savannah turned off her phone. "No one can know we're here."

She smiled sweetly and winked. A little smile carved her big sister's lips; now was the right time to attack.

"I know you don't like AJ…" Savannah started.

"Understatement of the century, really."

"But it's still a private vacation. So we should try to enjoy ourselves." Savannah put her phone in her bra. "Regardless of who's around us."

Amethyst smiled. After seeing Roberto and knowing he was around for a while, that would not be an issue.

In the meantime, AJ was speaking with the receptionist. She kept giggling at every word he said. Alexis had gone join her husband touring the casino like they did most nights, while Brittany had gone home.

After chatting with the blushing receptionist, he turned to his sisters, clearing his throat. Amethyst looked pissed the moment she looked at him, Savannah's smile had turned into a frown. That mood change surprised him. She looked at him like he had changed. Well, he had, but it wasn't like she could see it.

"Okay. Let's go see the room, ladies."

Luggage taken care of, he started to walk towards the elevators. Having lived at the Ava for a year now, he knew the place like the back of his hand. He had chosen what he considered to be amongst the best rooms of the hotel, and he was confident it would please these two divas with diverging tastes.

Neither spoke to him in the elevator. Both stayed quiet, either staring into space or on a phone screen. The elevator's door opened.

"So you have a luxury suite, I chose it especially for you ladies," he started as he walked towards the suite door. The corridor was quiet, rigged with a large number of security cameras hidden everywhere, focused especially on their room. AJ had made a deal with the head of security, Sam, to have access to the feed at all times when needed. Plus there would be at least two guards every night in the hallway.

"Why are you speaking in singular?" Amethyst suddenly asked. It had worried her from the beginning. He sounded like they were going to be cohabiting with him. Living with Savannah was an okay thing, but with him? Never.

"Why wouldn't I?" AJ looked pretty confused.

"Are we sharing a room?" Savannah looked positively horrified.

"Well a suite, yes."

AJ got worried; should he have chosen a room for each girl instead of getting them inside of one? But two rooms would be too much work if he wanted to visit, which he was planning to do the whole two weeks.

He handed them each a key card, keeping quiet that he himself had one, and opened the door to the empty suite. It was big, luxurious, decorated with finesse to fit with the current luxury hotels fashion. There were complimentary gifts, including food, bath products and loaded cards for the casinos.
