"5:30 a.m" is the time my alarm clock went off but it didn't matter I didn't get wink of sleep last night. All I could think of was Reid and all of the girls that he's been with. Tiredly I got out of bed and proceeded to get ready for the day. Bumming it out today I decided to wear all black everything and my usual hairstyle. A black hoodie, shirt, leggings, and converse. Walking in to the kitchen their is a note on the refrigerator door from my parents saying that they will be home at 5 p.m and that they left me and my twin brother food.
I'm the youngest of all three of my siblings. My oldest brother Jody is 22 years old and lives with his girlfriend and daughter. My sister Ameera is 19 and away at college. Then there is Ace my twin brother who is 17 and 5 minutes older than me.
Speaking of the devil, I hear my twin brother Ace say
"Aiyana, I told you so." Shaking his head.
"Listen, I don't want to talk about this right now and the last thing I want to hear right now is you rubbing this in my face." I say storming away and out of the front door.
"WAIT UP!" He says running after me " I just can't stand to see you broken up over some little nappy headed boy. Your my twin, if your hurt, I'm hurt too. I'm sorry for saying what I said but I wish you just listened to me that's all."
"I wished I listened to you too. I'm done with boys."
The rest of our trip to school was in comfortable silence between us. • • • • • Walking to my locker at 7:43 a.m I'm startled as my best friend Colette screams my name.
"What do you want Colette?"
"Girl, watchu mean "what do you want" I'm your best friend. What's wrong bubbles?" Colette says
"Reid cheated on me mult-" I say getting cut off by Colette
" Where this nigga at imma bout to pop him. Ooooh, you better have broken up with him."
"Of course I broke up with him. He had me out here looking stupid. Talkin bout some " I lied to you because I love you" I put my all into that relationship." I say starting to crack but I suck it up because he's not worth anymore of my tears. "Let's just go to class letty."
As we walk into our first period( which is algebra 2 btw 🙄)we hear murmurs and people gushing about a "hot new guy".
10 minutes into class we were interrupted by something or rather someone walking into our classroom. This interruption was very hot by the way. He looked as if he was 6'5 ft tall, had light green eyes and his ears are pierced. He is HOT! But it doesn't matter because I swore of boys.
"You must be our new student. Introduce yourself to the class" my teacher Ms. Reyes said
" My name is Moore. Aaron Moore."
"Oh gosh" I think as he introduces himself dramatically. This is gonna be a long year.
