Aiyana POV
"You can go sit next to Aiyana " Ms. Reyes says to him while pointing at me.
I suddenly feel eyes piercing through my soul and I find that it's Aaron. Geez, can a girl have her face back or what. As he starts to walk in my direction I feel my heart beat faster. I don't know why I'm feeling like this, I need to get a grip. He sits down, smiles, and then turns to me.
"What's your name?" He ask
"Umm, did you not hear the teacher just say my name?" Rude, yes I know but I just want to keep my guard up.
"Feisty, I like it. I just wanted to know if you could come to my party tonight"
"I don't do parties" I say lying right through my teeth like I wasn't just at a party last week.
"If you say so" he says turning around in his seat as the teacher resumes teaching.

Just as the bell rings indicating that class is over Aaron slips a paper over to me, smiles cockily, and walks out the classroom.

It was is.....address. I sigh crumbling it about to throw it into the trash when Colette comes up behind and grabs it." What is this?" She says as unfolds the crumpled up paper. "It's an address. What for?"
" It's for Aaron's party tonight but, I'm not going." I say as I start walking out the classroom going to my next class
"Ummm, are you sick or something because the Aiyana I know never passes up going to a party."
"Well, I decided I was gonna stay in and study tonight. My grade in Mr.Hayes is not looking to good." I say knowing damn well I'm lying, I just don't want to go I don't know why but, I just don't.
"Stop lying, you just told me last week you had a 95 in his class. Try again."
There goes my excuse.
