Jungkook happily walked towards Hyerin's house as he clutched the black velvet box in his hand. 'Today is the day' he thought and a smile appeared on his face. 'Today I'll express my love for her, I'll take all her worries away. I'll keep her close to my heart. She'll be safe with me, I'll protect her. I'll shower her with the love and appreciation she deserves'. Little did he know that these things would only be a part of his imagination and would never come true.
The ambulance in front of Rin's house slightly worried Jungkook. Curiosity took over him and he thought a look wouldn't harm him, would it?
He slowly stepped into the crowd that surrounded the ambulance. He slightly pushed some of the people aside to get a glimpse.
He stood on his toes and looked at the stretcher in front. He couldn't believe his eyes. It was Rin, laying there. Her eyes closed, her eye lashes casted a shadow on her cheeks, the wound on her forehead had gotten worse than before. Her burnt arm hung out of the white sheets which covered her bruised body.
The sight in front of him terrified him. He wanted this to be a dream, a very horrifying dream but the world isn't merciful so the reality hit him and made him realise that the person he loved has taken her life
He roughly wiped his tears as he stepped away from the crowd. He shoved the velvet box in his pocket and just like that, he walked away.
