Chapter 1

This takes place after Bella and Alice leave to save Edward from the Volturi.

Alayna POV:

"Wake up!" I heard the three idiots yell before splashing water on me. I looked up and saw Quil, Jared, and Jacob. "Congratulations you guys woke me up. Here's your award." I said flipping them off and turning back to sleep. "Get up or else we'll drop you off the cliffs later." Embry said. "I hate you all." I said rolling out of my bed. "You know you love us" Quil said helping me up. "Mhmm yeah sure. I regret giving you guys a key to my house. Out so I can get dressed." I said rubbing my eyes while pointing at the door. "Hurry up we're going to the beach after." Quil said closing the door after them. I sighed and changed into this:

I slipped on my Scott's from my trip in Hawaii.

I grabbed my backpack and stuffed in my towel with my small pack of shampoo and conditioner along with my phone and portable charger. I grabbed the keys to my truck and walked downstairs to see Jacob sitting in my couch texting someone while Quil and Embry were raiding my fridge. "All rights lets go boys." I said walking to my truck. "Finally." Quil said following me. "Jake you coming?" Embry yelled after noticing Jake didn't follow. "Hmm oh yeah." Jake said looking at his phone one last time before putting it his pocket and running out to the truck. I grabbed my surfboard from the shed on the side of my house next to the pool and put it on the truck bed. I tied it down with small red towel in between the tie. I locked the door and got into the truck. I grabbed my phone and hooked up to the speakers in the front. I looked through my music and settled on The greatest showman soundtrack. I skipped over to This is me. "Really this song again." Embry whined. "Oh shut it Embry. At least it's not the other one." Quil said. "Yeah Embry." I said in a taunting voice. "Shut it Lahote." Embry said. "Make her Call." Jake said testing him. The rest of the ride all three of them were bickering.

Timeskip

I parked and unplugged my phone. "Alright boys we're here." I said chucking my phone into my bag and zipping it up. "Finally! Jeez Lahote never knew you drive so slow." Embry said. "Mhmm yeah sure-say that again you little punk." I said grabbing him into a chokehold. "Ah! Jake get your crazy girlfriend off of me!" He said trying to fight back. Jake chuckled and walked over to us and made me let go of him. "Aw come on Jake I was having fun." I pouted but went to go get my surfboard. "You're surfing?" Quil said looking at me. "Yeah Quil because she is totally not surfing even though she brought her surfboard with her." Embry said looking at him with a "duh" tone. "Come on leave Quil alone Embry." I said lifting up the surfboard off the truck bed. "If you go on a date with me then yeah I will." He said when he went to my side in a instant. "Sorry Quil you're gonna have to suffer longer." I said walking not before seeing Jake shaking. "Jake you ok dude?" I said putting my hand on his arm. He was glaring at Embry for a while before grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the beach. "Whoa ok. Quil lock the truck for me please." I said throwing him the keys. "Ok." He said.

Now that that was dealt with I turned my attention back to Jake who was still dragging me. "Jake stop." I said trying to pry his hand off my wrist which was now sore and will most likely leave a bruise. "Why did you let him touch?" He asked me facing me, finally stopping. "Umm because he always does that. Can you let go of me?" I asked trying wriggle my wrist from his grip but failed. "You cant let him do that to you anymore Alayna." He said completely ignoring what I asked him to do. His hand started to get really hot. Then it hit me.

'Fuck he's gonna phase soon. I need to get him to calm down.'

"Ok I will stop him. Now can you let go of me? It's starting to hurt me Jake." I said wincing when his grip got tighter. "Let go of my sister Jake." I heard from behind him.

'Ah shit.'

There stood Paul and Jared with Sam too. "Why should I listen to you Lahote?" Jake said seething. "Because 1 I'm her brother. And 2 I have more authority over then  you. So let go of my sister. Now." He said trying to calm down. Sam put his hand on his back to calm him down but Paul shrugged his hand off. "Why do you care for her now Lahote? You didn't seem to care for her when you started ignoring her when you started to hang out with Sam. So why now?" Jake said glaring at him. His hand got really hot just now. I winced and I'm pretty sure Sam noticed. He looked at me questioned before his eyes widened when I nodded my by head at Jake. "Back off Jake." I heard Quil and Embry say running up to us. "Why would you care Jake? You ditched her for Bella. For how long oh yeah that's right 3 months ever since she first got here." Paul taunted. That's when I heard bones ripping. I dropped my stuff and tackled Quil and Embry out of the way. I looked back and saw Jake and Paul in there wolf forms snapping at each other.

'Shit'

"Get the boys back to Emily's." Sam said phasing and going after the two morons. "Alright boys lets go." I said getting up and grabbing my stuff. "Oh my god Layna your back." Jared said.

"Shit. Ok hurry up we have to hurry." I said tying my towel around my shoulder blade. "Here let me carry this." Embry said carrying my surfboard. "Give me the keys then." I said grabbing the keys from his hand. We all ran back to the truck and got in. I got in the driver seat with Jared right by me in the passengers seat. With Quil and Embry in the back holding the surfboard down. After that we sped off.
