Chapter 2

We pulled up to Emily's and Jared got out first to help me out. Quil and Embry jumped out from the back. "Emily I need help out here!" Jared yelled before helping me out and walking me up the steps. Quil ran up behind me and kept the bloody towel in place. "Hurry this way." Emily said holding the door open for us. We walked and sat down by the table. Once I sat down I winced in pain as my shoulder hit the back of the chair. "Hurry take your shirt off or else it's going to get infected." Emily said. "Are you that's a good idea with us in the room?" Quil said. "I have my swimsuit on. You guys have seen me in my swimsuit." I said whipping off my shirt.

"I'm gonna kill that moron." I grunted as soon as she started cleaning the claw mark using alcohol. "Which one? Leech lover lover or hothead?" Jared said watching in amusement.

"Both of them. Then you'll be next if you don't shut up." I said pointing before forming a fist and putting on the table trying to distract myself from the pain.

Embry saw and sat in front of me rubbing my fist making me relax. Embry always has that effect on me if I was in pain. He wails always be there to help. "Thanks Embry." I said as I felt Emily put ointment on the cuts. "Quil come here." She said holding my a huge gauze pad against my shoulder blade. He rushed over holding it for her while she grabbed bandages. I looked and my eyes widened. "Whoa Emily I don't think I need that much." I said shocked. "Honey you're gonna phase soon so your shoulders are getting buff hence why you need a lot so arm up." She said.

She started wrapping it around my shoulder but stopped. "Boys out. Make sure the pack doesn't walk in." She said waiting. "What why?" Quil said looking retarded. "I need her to takeoff her top so I can wrap around her chest too." She said trying not to lose her patience. After she finished saying all three of them booked it out of there and guarded the doors like guard dogs. I chuckled. "Dipshits." I muttered grinning. I heard Emily giggle a little. I started peeling off my top trying not to cry out in pain. But as my body decided against making me fail. "Tch." I said biting my lip in pain. "Here let me help." Emily said pulling up the back part up and over my head and down my shoulder.

Let's go check on the boys outside.

Quil POV:
Me, Jared, and Embry sat outside the house with blushing faces. "Never to be spoken again?" Embry said. "Agreed." Me and Jared said. We heard some laughing in front of us and looked. We saw Jake and Paul playing around walking towards us with Sam behind them. "Hey what are you guys doing out here? Where's Layna?" Paul said. "Emily's wrapping her shoulder blade right now." Jared said quietly so Paul doesn't go off on him and Jake. "What why?" Paul said scared and worried for his sister. Embry, Jared and I looked at each other tensed. "Well?" Jake said looking at us. The three of us gave each other's looks saying 'you say it.' Or 'no you say it I don't want to do it.' "Oh for the love of god. You guys are such wimps." We heard behind us. We looked and saw Alayna standing there by the door with one of Emily's tank tops on showing her wrapped shoulder and part of her chest. "Alayna! What happened?!" Paul said running up to her hugging her.

Alayna POV:

"Alayna! What happened?!" Paul said running up to me hugging me. I winced and tried pushing him off. "I'm fine but a little sore. So please let go dude." I said tryin to pry him off. "Sorry. Now What happened to your shoulder?" He asked letting me go. "Well....when Jake phased. Quil and Embry were standing to close so I pushed them out of the way but I didn't move fast enough to save myself." I said holding his arm Incase he tries to go at Jake again. And I was right. "You did this!" Paul yelled going at Jake again only for me, Jared and Sam holding him back. "Layna take Jake back to your house. I'll be there in a sec." Sam said. I nodded and let go of Paul. "Let go of me!" He yelled struggling. "Boys lets go." I said grabbing the keys from Jared and walking towards the truck. Quil and Embry ran and got into the truck bed. "Jake Lets go." I said after noticing he wasn't moving. "Jake?" "Wait someones here." He said looking at the entrance of the driveway. Then we all heard a Familiar Truck engine noise. Me, Paul, and Jared groaned. "You have to got to be kidding me...." I muttered. "Bella!" Jake yelled running over to the truck only for me and Jared to stop him. "You can't be friends with Bella anymore until She figures out what we are. Its only to Protect her. You need to cut your relationship with her off." Jared said. "What why?" Jake said looking at us. "Emily!" I yelled. "Yeah!" She yelled back coming out. Jake looked at her and his eyes widened. "That will happen. Sure You won't mean to do it but all it takes is you to lose one second and that will happen to Bella. Cut off Your Relationship with her so She's protected." I said. He looked at us then at Bella. "Fine." He said. Me and Jared let go and He walked towards Bella. He hugged her and got in the truck. "You have got to fucking kidding me." I said getting into my truck and driving off. I sped off towards my house but not to fast to make Quil and Embry fly out of the truck. I pulled up in my driveway and got out. I grabbed my bag along with the bloody towel and took it in the house. "Where do you want us to put this Layna?" Quil said motioning the Surfboard. "Probably where she got it Quil." Embry said pulling it out. I rolled my eyes. "In the shed you guys." I said walking in the house.
