Chapter 2

Eliza's pov
First class of the day, Advanced Calculus. I had my 2 best friends Chloe and Brooke with me, so I know I have friends to talk to in there.
We walked in and sat in 3 seats in the back. Chloe in front of Brooke, while I sat next to her, which left an empty seat in front of me.
"There was this freshman flute player who came up to me during band camp and was like You're play your part wrong so I told her that she can't tell me I'm playing it wrong since she's a freshie and our section leader Maya backed me up and I swear if that bitch says anything again I will cut her."
"Chlo, don't say that here, Maya is a few seats over!" Brooke said with a whisper.
I was about to say something when Michael came in. He looked around the room for a friend, but was upset when he didn't see one.
There was just one empty seat, which happened to be mine and when Michael realized this, I could tell he internally groaned on the inside.
Chloe and Brooke did give him a hard time last year, but I stayed out of it since he is my brothers best friend, but this year they decided to stop for an unknown reason.
Chloe and Brooke watched Michael as he came over here very slow, as if he wanted to sit anywhere else.
"Hey Michael!" Brooke and Chloe said in unison
"Hey Brooke, Chloe" he said with a surprised tone.
He sat down and didn't say another word.
"Isn't that Jeremy's best friend?"
"Yeah, they hang out all the time. They do sleepovers every Friday. Some days it's at our house others at his. But he never notices me since I'm in the basement or at a game or practice"
"Ohhhh, that explains why he didn't say hi to you."
"Yeah Jeremy doesn't want him to know me since he thinks that Michael will want to hang out with me instead of him." I said and Brooke and Chloe nodded.
*Time skip*
The bell rang and it was time to go to Psychology.
Chloe had French so it was just Brooke and I.
Brooke turned around then looked back at me "Well would you look at that, you have another class with Michael, maybe you should talk to him and not mention that you're Jeremy's sister."
"Maybe I will Brooke"
