Waking up from the sound of my obnoxious alarm , I turn over & hurry to turn the alarm off before it woke my mom. More than likely it wasn't because she went to sleep drunk last night .. again.

My name is Massiah Kahjour Walker , people call me Siah for short. I'm 17 & live in Atlanta , GA but from Raleigh Nc. I'm about 5'5 & darkskin , I have natural hair so I always keep my hair in a protected style such as box braids. I'm more on the tomboy side , I don't really wear dresses or heels or anything girly lol. My body is not all that , I have a little pudgy belly & im kinda slim .

I have a big brother named Ralo  he's 21 , tall , chocolate colored with dark brown eyes & straight pretty teeth. He lives on the other side of town , we never had a bond since he lived with my mema until she passed ever since then I haven't heard from him but I know he's around because his name is always all over town since he's a big time drug dealer & the females in the city always got him & his name in their mouth.

My dad is not around at all I can't even remember what he looks like or what he's like period & my mom is either off the rockets or just not in the mood to tell me anything about him. My mema told me I look just like him & wished that I could've met him.. me too sis. Hopefully I could get in touch with him before I graduate.

I live in a ghetto but quiet neighborhood, it has its days where it's rowdy asf around here but other days it's just chill. I'm really a homebody so I don't go outside & chill unless I'm really bored. We live off government assistance so the money my mom who's name is Jamie does have guess where it goes.. straight to drugs. I take care of my own self since I have a part time job at the local grocery store. They don't pay me much but it's enough to get my necessities.

Growing up it wasn't something I pictured my life was going to be , I wanted it to be how families on tv were. Jamie is a drug addict & alcoholic & she's been like this for as long as I can remember. My mema once told me Jamie wasn't always like that before her & my dad broke up , i guess she couldn't deal with being lonely even though she had me so she turned to drugs & alcohol.
