After signing the contract Reborn was shown to a small room towards the end of the manor and told that he would be lead to the dinning room in an hour.
That was alright. He needed time to think.
It didn't surprise the cursed hitman that Baka-Iemitsu was stupid enough to not send people to check on his family. It didn't surprise him that the information Baka-Iemitsu gave him was off.
What surprised Reborn was how Tsunayoshi had managed to fool even the professionals that Reborn had sent himself and others that Vongola has sent so completely... It was frustrating to say the least.
Reborn was the best hitman/tutor, even with his cursed body, and he always got the job he was hired for done with little to no complaints from whomever hired him. This being said, Reborn was at a lost on how to proceed here.
His new sla... student is a Yakuza Boss. The Boss of the, though very young, most powerful Yakuza in Japan... and maybe the world too.
Kurozumu Kasei.
The name whispered in fear and awe around the world. Anyone who is anyone in the underworld is aware of this group and how they get things done, but nobody knows enough about the strange group that had appeared four years ago. The two Japanese words meaning to darken and force of flames {At least that's what the translator says} lead to the knowledge that the group is focused in Japan. The only members known are known due to them signing their targets with their code-name, showing all just who it was that killed that day.
Who are they?
Where did they come from?
What are they after?
These and many more of the unanswered questions were scattered from the Mafia to the Triad to the Yakuza and every lowlife in between.
And now Reborn was in a prime position to find out.
But how to go about doing so?
Due to the contract he couldn't tell Nono anything the cursed hitman discovered... and he wasn't about to tell Baka-Iemitsu anything until the fool shows his face. Now that will be good entertainment.
But how to go about all this?
Reborn had felt the hatred that had filled the room when he mentioned Vongola. Something must have happened to make them despise Vongola so and it was no lie that Kurozumu Kasei was also known for their strong dislike of Vongola. They never took a job from Vongola. If there was a job that could hinder Vongola while still keeping to their code they would take it with no hesitation. They despised Vongola... And Reborn realized that getting them to join will be even harder than getting Tsuna to be Vongola Decimo.
On the bright side, at least Tsuna has ample of potential Guardians to choose from... though there was something off about all of them.
Now he had to rethink if bringing Gokudera Hayato was a good idea. On one hand Reborn hadn't sense a true Storm among the group he met, on the other hand...
Reborn shivered (I think I'll bring it up with Dame-Tsuna during dinner).
As fate would have it, it was at that moment that a knock came to his door and interrupted Reborn from his thoughts and planing.
Surprised, the cursed hitman opened the door to see a short, slim, and rather petite girl with short purple hair in a pineapple-like shape and violet eyes, one of which was covered by a black eye-patch with a chrome-colored skull directly in the center. She wore what looked like girl's school uniform that was a nice indigo blouse with a deep black skirt. And clenched within her trembling hands was a small triton held defensively in front of her.
